    Default Credit card payment

A friend of mine is buying a domain. His mother lives in Singapore and she has a bank account and a Mastercard there. So will it be possible to pay online using that credit card number from Bangladesh? Also my friend is afraid that what if they take more money or all the money from the credit card than the price alone?

Which domain hosting company your gonna go for? I myself pay my subscription fees and exam fees online using my cousins credit card and i never had a problem paying nor my cousin was charged more than it was intended. If you trust the website, and its a foreign well known company then go for it, just make sure your pc is keylogger free, and virus free ofcourse, and use recent updated IE or Firefox browser.

Godaddy is anything but reputable. Here's a peek: http://nodaddy.com/

Notorious business practices are like the second nature to them <_>

I recommend eNom / Namecheap or Directi / Resellerclub whole heartedly.

Correct, the process is called a 'chargeback'. You do need to have proof though, but that's rarely an issue.

I'd recommend staying away from 'unlimited' hosts, since they cap you in other places to make up for it.

To offer unlimited, you'd need an unlimited amount of resources, which simply isn't possible.

Can recommend MDDhosting, Stablehost, Hawkhost who're great at what they do and still maintain a competitive price. If you're looking to go premium, try Servint, NTT-VErio, Rackspace, Liquidweb and so on.

CPU Usage, Maximum Mysql Connections, number of cron you can have, number of threads you can have running. And the bandwidth too, try actually using a TB of it and see what happens, lol.
