[WORKLOG] Case Mod

Here I will be posting all the mods I'll be doing to my Delux MT418 chassis.

Table of contents:
1. Transparent side-panel window
2. ODD/HDD cage fan mod
3. Some better cable management
4. Engraved AMD logo on the side panel window
5. Exhaust fan painted white
6. PSU cover

Transparent side-panel window:



So here's how I did it:

At first I went to a shop at Kataban second floor (address given at the end), and gave them the side panel with the design. I went there the next day (they can do it within 1-2 hours) and got it done.

I bought a sheet of 2mm plexi-glass, which did cost me Tk.180 (depends on thickness), and the side-panel cutting cost Tk.150.

Both the plexi-glass and the side panel were drilled for screw-holes.

I'm planning to do some more mods to this case, but these are gonna take a long time. So stay tuned.

Love the cable management, that's one advantage of m-ATX mainboards, you have loads of room inside the case!

One question - Does the temps of your pc decreased after doing this nice cable management?

So I've finally got the transparent side panel window for the case, and this looks cool.

Excellent job Dee. Very good cable management for that particular case. Actually I havn't seen such good cable management in a case which has the PSU mounted on top. Great mod also for the side panel.
