Help needed about performane of Laptop (Urgent)
I borrowed my brother in laws laptop for WCG chittagong round. Its config : processor T5300 1.7 gh core 2 Duo, 1gb ram. 128 MB NVDIA geforce 7300 Go
my problem is that FIFA 08 runs very slowly here. I am shocked.
It's OS is vista. It is a Toshiba Laptop.
What do i do to run FIFA smoothly here? FIFA 08 runs smoothly even in my crap PC. why does not itrunsmoothly in this laptop?

1. Increase Page File/virtual Memory In Ur Laptop.
2. If U Are Using Lan, Make Sure You Have Set Manual Ip With A Common Default Gateway On Both Pc.
3. Turn Off Firewall/antivirus.
4. Close All The Programs In Background.
5. Make Sure U Hav The Latest Direct X
6. Latest Agp Driver.
7. Start>run>dxdiag>more Help>override>override Value And Try Some Different Refresh Rate Like 60,65,70,80..etc.

Is it possible to play your fifa 08 with a Lower Directx setting ?
in CS I tell my CS to run in direct x 8 mode ... but my directx is 10 in laptop. i get better perfroamance that way.

nah directx 9.0c is required.

if you haven't tried 640x480 res (or the lowest possible), try that one.

i sorted out the problem. I was running the laptop with low power consumption mode earlier. As i switched to High Performane Mode, everything was ok.
