i have q8400 processor.
motherboard ecs p45.
can i overclocking that & how?
ECS P45 is not a board for overclocking, and Q8400 doesn't overclock well as far as I know. So you'll get a very limited OC headroom and you might even fry your components. So I don't recommend overclocking. It won't bring you noticeable FPS increase in all games, so there is no point of doing it unless you are benchmarking.
Regardless of your configuration u should be able to reach at least 3.0 to 3.2ghz ( im assuming u have a decent PSU) and yes, like dee said Q8400 is not meant for decent OC. Personally i wouldnt go beyond 3.0 if its a ECS P45T-A2R(V1.0).
