Battlefield 3 vs Modern Warfare 3 [Discussion & Vote] Which one seems most interesting to you?

While for last few years Modern Warfare was the best FPS out there, EA trying to get their FPS throne by developing a much polished Battlefield game this time. Developer DICE is using the Frostbite 2.0 engine this time which looks really awesome.

From a graphics perspective, BF3 is the most realistic looking game to date. MW3 looks a couple generations old in comparison. Will be interesting how the gameplay actually turns out though.

Battlefield is releasing on October 25 while Modern Warfare is going to release November 8.

After watching E3, with lots of trailers, demos & images, which one seems most interesting to you? Before voting you might take a look at the trailers for both games.

EA & Activision's War Of Words Continues




Electronic Arts and Activision have been trading words before the November showdown of Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Now EA's CEO John Riccitiello has poured more gas on the fire.
This latest round started when Kotick was apparently asked by Reuters what he thought of EA's Battlefield 3 (shown above).
"I can’t objectively tell you what I think of other products until I see them. Battlefield I’ve only seen on a PC and nobody’s seen it on a console yet. Most of our consumers play games on a console. Until I see it on a console, I wouldn’t be objective on commenting on it."
It's not like he didn't try, either. Kotick was reportedly barred from seeing Battlefield 3 at E3.
Electronic Arts' CEO John Riccitiello fired back:
"It’s the beginning of the war and (Kotick) recognizes they’re going to be threatened. We’re going to have a clash of the titans this fall. The very fact that he’s trying to cast doubt on our game is a perfect example of how we got his goat. In terms of where this goes, we think our PS3 game is better than their Xbox game and our PC game is better than their PC game. If that’s all he’s got to say, it’s obviously going to evaporate as we launch all three. If you went to our press conference, you saw the PS3 footage and the Xbox footage. If Bobby thinks that is PC footage, he’s in real trouble."

These two games aren't out yet.
MW3 will be better in several things like the intense gameplay,cinematic actions etc.
While BF3 will be better in graphics and engines.

Will vote after playing these games.

voted for bf3. so far bf3 is better. cod mw3 will stand against bf3 in few sections like Story n Multiplayer n Spec Ops. but in terms of overall rating bf3 wins. better gfx, tactical, destruction, etc..... only it will lack is not much popularity in mp section. n storywise mw3 will be better. bt i hope to get a blockbuster story. coz we really cant compare story. so in this story section we really cant say mw3 wins. coz its a story.nothing to compare.
