Its pretty obvious. 460 is pretty powerful. You atleast need a quad core :/

You are going to upgrade your motherboard and processor anyways so just sit back and relax, the E7500 aint outta gas just yet if you can overclock it to around 3.8 GHZ though, assuming you've good enough memory modules to accompany the overclock, and a good aftermarket cooler, otherwise just be happy with what you've.

U'll see bottleneck in Games that use multicores eg- bfbbc2, jc2, gta4.
Also console ports r quite cpu heavy
    a q8400 wud be a good upgrade
i hav a hd5830 with e7500 @3.77ghz and i still face bottlenecks, so it's pretty obvious in ur case.

If you're willing to spend on a q8400, why don't you just save up some more and go for an AMD system? I don't see the point of making an upgrade or spending money on LGA775 architecture anymore unless you're really short on money, the upgrades I mentioned were upgrades that wouldn't cost you too much, and I highly doubt you'll find new Q8400s in our pc markets right now (correct me if I'm wrong, guys) so I say if you aren't gonna make a major upgrade, save the money and upgrade later.

Overclock it to 3.6ghz and check the difference in fps, if there isnt much then the CPU isnt really bottlenecking. At that resolution though, the CPU is bound to make a decent enough impact.

His motherboard is a genuine intel DG31PR he can't overclock, and even if he does overclock using softwares, there're chances of risking stability, right?

I don't see the point of making an upgrade or spending money on LGA775 architecture anymore unless you're really short on money, the upgrades I mentioned were upgrades that wouldn't cost you too much, and I highly doubt you'll find new Q8400s in our pc markets right now (correct me if I'm wrong, guys) so I say if you aren't gonna make a major upgrade, save the money and upgrade later.

Look bro, as Romulus bro said, there is no point of buying Q8400 (or any LGA 775 processor, not even Q9550) at this time, because you can find an Athlon X4 at the price of a used Q8400. And Q8400 is not good for overclocking, as it has very low (8x) multiplier.

You're also overlooking the part that he can't even overclock cause he'll be using it with his genuine intel motherboard, the last good intel motherboard was 440BX2, after that all the intel manufactured boards were pretty much rubbish.
