"Wow. this is quite a flame war going on. lets clear up all the stuff here. We, everyone in F1 it decided to go with Promod after holding amyn meetings with gamers, calling them over phn who could not make it, and based on a number of factors, decided to go with promod S&D. The reasons include, many already mentioned above: First of all, the current CoD game is black ops, but many gamers in our country can not afford a PC well enough to support it. Which is why we went for the most popular game in the series, CoD4. Now the question of why promod instead of modwarfare. Firstly, promod is more popular worldwide, and most servers(private and public) host promod. Most major online and international and local tournaments are held in promod. Even the indian, pakistani WCG has promod. besides, there are ongoing tournies of promode in China and malaysia. Like it or not, its a fact. Simply google promod cod4 tourny, and modwarfare cod4 tourny in google, and count the results each brings up. Promod wins hands down. If you guys want to play in an international lvl/stage, promod is the way forward. And please dont say we dont have the rights to announce games in a short notice. As you all are aware, in previous years we announced games in less time from the tourny. this is NOT an official game of WCG to start with. this is a promotional game, and we announced it quite early this year. We wanted to host CSS but stuck to 1.6 for the very same reasons, although CSS had quite a few players. and remeber, the main game is the same unlike CS...its always COD4...same weps, same physics. Therefore, there wont be any problem when tdm players switch to S&D, just needs some practice. I suggest stop flaming and QQing this thread, and invest more time practicing. Also, from an organizers point of view, TDM is extremely inefficient in terms of time management, and also contrversial. Since due to lack of time we often made you guys play best of 1...the scenario was...both teams camped, and in the last 10 secs all hell broke loose...the result most of the time was by pure luck due to the chaos...and the losing team never had a chance to recover...but in S&D, you get multiple rounds to learn from your mistakes and improve...so there is no luck here...just pure skill. May the Best team win."
