Default Need Suggetion to Buy New Laptop

I'm planning to get myself a gaming laptop, looking for a machine for both gaming and some programming. I was interested in alienware 13, not sure if it is available/ fit my budget(which is 80 - 100k). Then I found Asus GL552JX that fits my budget and I like the design, ...........http://www.ryanscomputers.com/Asus-GL552JX-7023 . Should I go with this one? Please gimme some ideas/suggestions to get a machine. Thanks in Advance.

http://www.sagernotebook.com/Notebook-NP8651.html on this laptop you can actually game.. a gtx 970M so 60fps at 1080 without AA on almost every game currently out. and other laptops at the same price cost a LOT more. it'd be around 110k with shipping. If that's a bit over budget then this is also decent http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...&creative=9325. The Asus one you posted is also good... but the ram's too low to run most current games. also please don't get alienware, it's overpriced a lot literally like apple but for gaming lol

undoubtedly your suggested laptop is great but when it comes to laptop, isnt it better to buy from bangladesh? because unlike desktops the laptops has more chances to crack may be its the keyboard or other parts and once something happens to this then you will never get the parts easily in bangladesh

The parts are actually available in bangladesh.. and the laptop does come with warranty as well. if you buy it from bangladesh it will be overpriced unless you know the store owner or something. the only laptops where you can get competitive prices are the ones that everyone is selling like lenovo, dell, hp etc but those aren't gaming laptops.

i haven't claimed warranty with newegg so not sure how that works but, for amazon i called the manufacturer of the product (AMD) explained the problem and sent my warranty number they just told me to ship it to them via amazon and i got it back after 2 weeks. the downside is i had to pay for shipping..but the cost for shipping isn't really that high (usually around 10-20$)

I like the laptops, specially the first one but as far I know amazon won't ship electronics to BD. Couldn't find the first one one Ebay(I don't have much choice of payment, ebay is the only one), I have another laptop in my consideration:

    https://www.facebook.com/BDMSI/photo...651205/?type=1
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/MSI-GE62-Apa...item20fcfc1d55

NOW you see, IF I buy from ebay it would cost me around bdt 20k less, that's quite an amount. But would try to avoid purchasing online as I had very bad experience with our customs and foreign post office particularly when the price goes above $500. That leaves me no choice but get something available in BD market

have you tried Xotic pc.com? that might work and as for Amazon try using an intl card if that dosen't work... well then the best you could do is get some relative abroad to buy it and send it via DHL or fedex but that might be too troublesome for you. The MSI laptop you just mentioned is preety good. the only thing holding it back would be the gpu.. since it's only 2gb you won't be able to run the latest games on it or even if you can it'll me low or mid, but for normal office/school work, movie watching and gaming (you can run most current games except for the demanding ones like batman and witcher 3 and probably no future titles) but the current games out there you can.

The site is great, the option for customisation is a good thing. I was about to order an Asus G series Laptop worth around $1400, but finally got this - "PayPal Payments are accepted only from residents in the U.S." ..... I would better stick with ebay as PayPal is the only option I got. Thanks for your help man, they were helpful for sure.

I don't have a friend/family in US, thanks for your suggestion anyway. As I told before, I had to stick with Ebay.... I finally got myself this one - http://www.ebay.com/itm/111651441536...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT .... in terms of customisation, this PC lacks a SSD. So, I think I could add one myself . I used USPS instead of Fedex/DHL as custom duty with them could gimme a heart attack. Its still on its way, I'll try writing a hands on review when I get it.

Thanks for your suggestion, I would love to have a Desktop rather than Laptop if Gaming is the only thing. Honestly, I hate gaming in a Laptop. But I needed something that I could use for both gaming and use as a mobile workstation (I'm a programmer in profession) and a desktop is not going to help. So, I'm willing to increase the budget to have something that meets my need, actually already purchased the elder brother of GL552JX; G751JT. I found positive reviews about this one out there, hope it will fit my needs.

There are plenty and you have to clarify what generation i7 processor you want, if it's the 4th gen one then they don't start cheap. and also what are you planning on using it for?

do you want to take your gaming device to work or varsity everyday?

may i suggest buying a awesome gaming pc with monitor within 70k and buying a laptop with 30k to 40k?

what kind of programmer are you? are you 3d developer? if you are web developer or android developer you will not need very expensive laptop anyway.

if you are not a game developer or 3d developer and don't want your game development machine to be portable then buying a gaming laptop is a very bad idea.

Never thought your way, it would work for me for sure unless I've already spent around bdt 135k for the laptop .... I develop android apps mostly, need to run some heavy softwares (Visual Studio 14 Professional, SQL server 2013 etc) as well. Again, you gave a wonderful solution, I would have followed it unless I bought one already. Its still in transit, let's hope it will do everything fine for me.
