Default Radeon HD 4890 or equivalent (NVIDIA will also do)

The thread title says it all. I'm looking for a second hand HD 4890 or any other equivalent model. NVIDIA equivalent will also do.

If anyone is interested to sell, post details here/pm me or mail me at [email protected] for quick reply.

    Thanks in advance.

I would suggest you not to spend 8.5k for a 4890. It is a very good card, but I think you should get something better spending a little more, or if you can find a 5770 for 8k, or even 9k, it would be better.

I actually found the 4890 crushing 5770 in every benchmark on the net. And I'm not bothered about the heat or noise.
Any other recommendation of cards at around that price point?
Any opinion regarding the XFX brand of the card?

Not only 4890...........4870 is also 7% faster than 5770...............Just look at this-
    http://www.hwcompare.com/1163/radeon...adeon-hd-5770/
In every modern games FPS is better in 4870.I myself bought a sapphire 4870 from a guy who bought it from USA & itz abt 4 months no problem at all.

XFX is a really good brand for ATi/AMD cards, but I think UCC imports low-class cards. So if the XFX cards are bought from abroad, I guess there will be no problem.

    Couldn't find a single 4890 for sell
So thinking about buying a brand new Nvidia GTX 460 or Amd HD 6850. They look so very close in every benchmark!
Can you guys suggest which one to buy, whats the cheapest price of them and where to buy it from. Would appreciate any help I can get. Thank you!

Yap in dx11 games 5770 is gd while 4870 wont be able to run those like it.But there wiil be difference in dx10 games.4870 definitely beat 5770.Just look at the FPS of the games i have given before. Now take a look at toms hardware web-

    http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...70,2446-7.html
If u have proof that 5770 is crushing 4870 in dx10 then give some prove.
