Default Help me finalize the configuration

So I went to IDB today and looked around. Finally I came to this conclusion.

Phenom II X4 955 3.2 GHz Black Edition
    MSI 760GM-P33
    ATI 5770 HD
    Thermaltake 500 Watts
1 TB HDD, 4 GB Ram
    Dvd Writer
    Thermaltake Casing

    That pretty much within 40K.

Now, can you tell me if the configuration is ok for the price or I can get better than this within the price range? Is this gonna give me 2-3 years of good gaming experience.

I have 17 inch LCD monitor which I am going to hang out with for a bit more. Resolution for the games will be 1440 x 900.

Also, I want to sell my previous pc,

    Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13 GHz
    Intel DG31PR Mainboard
    1 GB DDR2 Ram
    160 GB HDD
    DVD ROM
    Space Casing
    nVidia 8500 GT

Used for over 1 year and no warranty left. Let me know what should be the asking price for this.
    Bleh.

Seems good to me. You can also try to get Delta 500w psu cause it will be helpful for your future upgrades.

I have a suggestion, if i were you, i would skip the Phenom and get an Athlon II X4 640, costs around 4k less, and with that 4k, i think you should get a GTX 460 or a 6850 :/ 5770 and 2 - 3 years? Might not be a good choice i think

It would be a good idea to put up your old pc for sale in the BG shop, and as for your configuration, listen to @error I'm useless when it comes to new hardwares as I'm a whore when it comes to used hardware

640 is out of market and none of the stores confirmed it coming any sooner. What do you suggest then?

    Then get the 955

    ---------- Post added at 19:46 ---------- Previous post was at 19:44 ----------

    Don't forget to get TT TR2 500.
    Don't buy the LitePower.

If you wanna spend much and get the best, buy Delta 500

It would have been better if you could get a GTX460/HD6850. HD5770 is a good card, but I don't think you'll be able to play games at maximum settings for 2-3 years. A Delta PSU would be better, as Sadman said.

TR2 500W(4.8k) is more than enough for cards like 5770/6850....it's not actually worth putting extra 1k for delta a 500W(~5.8k) unless you go for GTX460........

Also, can I use 460 768 MB with 760GM-P33, if yes what would be the price of 460 768 MB?

    Thanks for your time

Is 460 768MB available? I don't think so :/ And Delta 500W costs 5.5k and Tt TR2 500W costs 4.5k And even if you have to wait for some time, i would highly recommend you to get a GTX 460/6850 You never know, Athlon 640 might just ship in the next UCC shipment
