Default need info about line cable

Most of the BTCL/BCUBE users are now facing disconnection problem. This disconnection problems happens when SNR gets low. So i was thinking if changing the main line cable might improve the situation (i heard that it worked for some people). If someone knows about any better quality cable than the given cable plz let me know.

I also had question to ask a question. Is it possible to use Fibre Optic instead of the local tnt cable? If splicing is possible then could use Fibre Optic :S

Fiber optic and twisted copper pair (conventional phone lines) are two entirely different technologies. No amount of splicing will give you your desired result.

BTCL is planning to implement Fiber Optic Network across the whole country. It is not possible at this moment.

Ok. Despite using normal cable line ADSL is more than good I would say. I wish they work for Bdix connectivity. Heard Bdix is totally a private system. That's why it will take time

Change your ADSL Mode(from Modem configuration) to- G.dmt

By default modem configuration, most of the users are using-G.dmt.bis or G.dmt.bisplus mode that's why disconnecting within 5-10 minutes!

G.dmt might work for you, I am not 100% sure about it.

Also you can call here- 8362599 For noise reduction. They will increase your SNR margin little bit from DSLAM machine inside the exchange.
