I don't know if 550 Ti is going to come or not, but you can choose between a GTX460 and HD6850. Since you like Nvidia, you can go for GTX460. And remember, you're gonna need a good PSU for either one of these. I would recommend a Delta 500W, a TR2 500W will do too, for GTX460. And for monitor, you can check Samsung P2250 or B2230.

PSU casing er ta, onar gadget list e lekha, that will significantly downgrade your choices. See if you can manager more money for the PSU. Or else you'll be looking at 5770s instead.

I highly doubt that GTX460 Thermaltake TR2 450W e cholbe. Gigabyte 6850 neoa better ai dik diye. It consumes less power than GTX460. PSU change kora lagbe na. Tmr pc er full configuration deo.

    For secondary use: E2160 OC @2.2Ghz| Gigabyte 945GCMX| 1.5GB DDR2| Thermaltake 400w| Intel GMA 950

Out of curiosity I just looked at power consumption of the card to see why everyone says it needs a true 500W.

    http://www.anandtech.com/show/3809/n...he-200-king/17

According to this, at Furmark the PC draws 330W only.

I really wouldn't say that the 6850 actually draws less power than the 460, the difference is so minimal it just doesn't matter. A PSU that'll run the 6850 will run the 460. A 15W difference is nothing.

actually 460W e cholbe, but the psu will working at overload operation, thus is suspect-able to fail. :\
Maybe you could get those 650Watt Chinese ones, you know the ones that look like thermaltake and all, some of them are actually good I hear.
    FTW!!!!!!!!!!

I know that Guru3D is very well reputed (and im not disregarding their power consumption test, more on that later), but first, take a look at another scenario here: Anandtech.

Difference here is 21W under Crysis and difference under Furmark is 56W. The difference shown in Guru3D is lower because of the game they played, its very important to know that the game determines the power consumed by the card as different games utilise different GPU's differently (ie. Crysis may have 21W difference, but another game may show a higher or lower difference between the 6850/GTX460). Now I know that Furmark is not an ideal scenario, but it must be taken into account since stability tests after an OC are done there. Even if you average out Furmark and Crysis difference, its still 38W. Thats quite sizeable.

    Hey everyone!

I recently got a new pc, and right now, I'm confused as to which graphics cards i should get. I want to get nvidia cards but amd won't be too bad too...i was looking around on the net and saw that the 550 Ti best suits my needs but oita to deshe nai...what i want to know is, is there any chance that this card will be available in the market here? ashle kirokom price hoite pare?

anyway, i still don't have a monitor so i'm open to options. i want to get the card which suits my monitor resolution the best. So ektu tips den please. My budget for monitor is 11K and budget for graphics is 15K. 15K-er niche hoile bhalo hoy.....

this pc will be used for gaming and watching movies... HELP ME! THANKS IN ADVANCE!
Both the 6850 and GTX460 will serve you equally well. 550Ti is actually slower than those two and has worse price/performance ratio as well so its best to stay away from that one even if its available.

GTX460 or HD 6850 or HD5850-These are in your price range.
    GTS550 sucks w/o any doubt.
    And I think TR2450 can handle a GTX460.

Anandtechs pc uses basic components only. Just check their pc components. No optical drive, only one HDD. And another thing theres about 30~40w difference between GTX460 and 6850. For a 450W psu these numbers matters. A tr2 450W will hardly be able to put 400W continuously. It has 29amp on +12v rail where my Thermaltake lightpower 400w has 30amp! Its peak output is 450W.

And about Fortex, when gaming I think that pc is overloading the psu. It is now running fine but it is putting stress on the psu and that is not good.

    For secondary use: E2160 OC @2.2Ghz| Gigabyte 945GCMX| 1.5GB DDR2| Thermaltake 400w| Intel GMA 950

5850 not an option, beshi power hungry. TR2 450W will be able to handle a 460, but really risky!

460 would be too risky as others said cause we all know after getting a 460 u wont play vcop2 but u will play crysis 2 which may hamper the PSU later so i think 6850 will be the better choice
or better psu + gtx460= pure awesomeness

    Guess what??? scan it??:
