Suggestion: Do not buy router + ADSL modem. Buy a separate ethernet router if needed.
seeing is believing..
Thanks for ur suggestion - but the offer still stands.........anybody?
@xCross, why? I am also thinking of getting one! so, please tell me what is the main problem about that?
as the adsl+ modem plus router is kind of a obsolete device...as apart from BTCL there is no ADSL provider...so getting a separate router will ensure that you can use that later if you change the ISP......it might be costly but this is way better.
You won't be able to use that router anymore if you don't use ADSL. For example, I've switched to Link3 and using the same router that I used with BTCL. If I had an ADSL Modem Router then I wouldn't have been able to use that router anymore.
Best solution is, get a TP-Link TD-8610 (1900tk) modem and an ethernet router.
And the future of ADSL is not so good. BTCL is switching to fiber network. Nevertheless, ADSL won't give you any better speed than 1mbps. So, ADSL will be in trouble in next price reduction.
seeing is believing..
amar bashay already linksys er router pore ase..............but my need is specific - I want an ADSL Modem + Router.........for i am with BTCL ADSL for a long time and will be with it for a long long time ;-)
