Default PS4 facing the evil power cuts... risky for use in BD?

As we all know BD suffers from power cuts, so whenever I play my PS3 and then the power randomly cuts off when I turn it on again I get a message "The file system will be checked to see if it's corrupted" or something like that. (Thankfully power never went out during a system update ever since 3.60 to 4.75)

Now, on the PS3 you could skip that. However on the PS4, if power is interrupted in any way, it goes to Safe Mode and does a system storage check. And you can't skip that.

So what happens if the storage check screws up??? Or what happens if the PS4 stops working and then you'll have to reinstall the entire OS again? Due to the amount of power cuts (well not that much now) it could put these latest gen consoles like PS4 and Xbox One to risk where they are designed to be always on (I know you can fully shut them off)

Is there any advice on using a PS4 safely in BD? I don't have one yet but I hope to get the latest model CUH-1200 whenever it's available and get it from the UK soon so would like some advice.

Get a 700VA or 650VA UPS and use it , with the amount of power backup you'll be able to turn off your console safely

Will cost you almost 3k to buy one
