    Default DSLR carrying case

Would really appreciate if any of you guys can tell me where in DHAKA I can purchase a compact case for DSLR camera? Camera and a couple of lenses.

I am interested in the popular brands like CaseLogic, LowePro, etc. Would also help if you can indicate price.

There's a Camera Zone in Bashundhara City too. It's on the ground floor/level 1, on the left side if you enter through the front gate, ask anyone and they'll show you the way.

And about courses, you can do courses at "Paathshala", which is probably at the Drik Gallery building in dhanmondi.

You can contact this guy, don't know if he still uses this number or not, but you can give it a try

Contacted Pathshala - they have evening courses. Now going to Dhanmondi after work is possible, but shuttling all the way back to Bishwa Road after 8pm will be a killer challenge!
    Anyone know abt Alliance course?

As always thanks for the suggestions. I did start out with a YASHICA manual way back when I was at Uni. The most compliments I got frm ppl were the pictures come out nice! A lot of ppl complimented that the angles and compositions were quite alright. A photographer friend of mine said I have natural instincts for angles and compositions. At that time and age there were only the manual camera with 36 shot celluloid films. Developing them costed -- a bit. I cud not follow my pseudo-hobby.

Many years later, in the same galaxy - I got a Sony Slimshot as a gift and the day of the snappings begun. After that again I got a used DSLR Sony as a gift from someone who migrated to Canada for good. His kit contained a DSLR and 2 lenses.

Whew - enough ancient history. Using the net and toying with your DSLR you will learn but some things are difficult to get your head around if you aren't in a formal learning environment. I could go out with a grp but we bangalis love to thump on ppl with lower skill level, ryt? If I pay 3-4k for a proper course, I won't need to take any attitude.

My goal is not to be a professional PhotoG. I want to be just good enough to take pictures of the ppl and moments I value and cherish in life.

ps _ i will post some shots; u can tell me how they r.

I know what youre talking about, using film was a "real art". We wouldnt have photoshop and stuff, + it was more technical, I started out with a Zenit 102 or something, when I was 8 years old. It was an old camera made in the USSR !

The first one is kinda off target, Due to the misfocus its unclear what your subject is and its also not well composed, as for the others they are quite nice . the third one seems to have a bit of noise, but thats thanks to the camera xD.
    FTW!!!!!!!!!!
