New Gamingcafe opening!! Suggestion are welcome!!

My friend's cousin is opening a gamingcafe with 40+ pcs .

The location is not yet finalized. It'll probably be in Dhanmondi.

It'll be a single+multiplayer cafe with high-end pcs.
All pcs will have 17 inch lcds.

I have started this topic to gather your suggestions.
Just tell us what you want in the cafe!!
What you like and what you dont like .
suggest a name

please make sure that people aren't allowed to play closed games with passwords unless it's a tournament/team practice match... that really ruins the community... blizzard and the noob part of assault should know.

In a way JIN, Games World had them but they were mega fail!

And I bet consoles would be extremely attractive after the stress of playing a serious/team-game! Also, it's much easier to organize console tournaments! I'm foreseeing one every few weeks.

I'd suggest, Rush, that you tell your "relative" to open it on Mirpur Road, preferably around Metro Shopping Mall. If you are opening it in Dhanmondi, then be sure to avoid Sat Masjid road since it is saturated with gaming zones.

Gulshan, is a place where I wouldn't suggest you open a gaming zone. This is based on a financial note, you cafe charges will not be able to afford the supplies there and give you a good profit at the same time.

Uttara has way too many gaming zone, considering the amount of people there. I say Uttara<Dhanmondi for a new gaming zone because Dhanmondi is more circular in shape (apparently the centre is around Metro) and Uttara is a based on a highway! Any person with a sense of advertisement and business will get what I am talking about here.

One more thing; I think the mood influences the decisions and actions of a gamer. A gamer will not really be into a game unless he is in a good mood. Environment has a direct influence on mood, so make sure that the interiors are well lit and a bit decorated.

heh,i used to visit Games world regularly when it was in kalabagan,even when it moved to bashundra city,in hopes of finding enough tekken players so that they will host a tournament there but instead i only found WWE and GTA players.and there were even various tournaments for WWE.anyway since then i stopped visiting the place and even cancelled my membership.also games world is like a cd/dvd shop with consoles as a side business not a dedicated game cafe!

and u are right abt organizing console tournaments.easy and hassle free unless ofcourse people are gonna play team vs games for cod4 or halo on the xboxes through lan!

great minds think alike I told him this myself. and it's almost confirmed to have a console section with ps3 and ps2 I'm worried about 360. It's not really able to withstand too much playing.

I know the condition of GamesWorld.. those $%#%s are asking 7500 taka for MGS4.

Also I maybe getting MGS4 today. Electronics museum is supposed to bring it today at afternoon.

we share same psychology. Bashundhara city and Gulshan are a no-no from business perspective. you got me thinking with MirpurRoad. It's pretty accessible to everyone. so thats a good spot. and yes Dhanmondi is pretty saturated . but still there're plenty of gamers who dont get places to play. thanks for the suggestion. you guys are really helping me out here.

btw dont buy games from games world,i got ripped off from there once,i paid 350tk for god of war2,when the game just reached bd,since the salesman there was whining abt it being a double layer disc etc etc,the very same day i went to SOF and found out that their asking price was 120tk! so have u tried SOF yet? im sure they have mgs4 with a better price,not sure abt electronics museum though.
