I still don't understand why you are going for the downgrade instead of CFX 6870. What's really pushing you towards this?

Hmm eta true je PhysX thik kore implement kora hoile it will be a worthwhile feature, but 6870cf is in a different league. At least 470 SLi hoile bujtam and that too after OCing it. Anyway, I hope you know what you are doing, 460Sli is a great set but compared to 6870cf its quite lacking IMO.

Rakin instead of going for pure hardware, spend a bit more money on buying original games, that goes for the rest of BG, support PC gaming, keep it alive.
Cant have one of the best platforms die due to lack of marketing and games .

Its your money you are free to do whatever you want with it .
but frankly speaking you seriously should think twice about selling this, cus GTX 460 sli will technically also cost more, and not to speak of the microstuttering issues with CFX / sli.
I think you should wait, skip a generation or two, then youll find a real upgrade.
    FTW!!!!!!!!!!

I'm thinking of GTX 580 atm...

Yes that would be good and not to mention you wont need to change your PSU, but with GTX 580 Im not sure if your PSU will be enough for your core i7 at 4.41 ghz , if I were you Id clock down to 3.8, especially sice the fact that core i7 actually run hotter than phenom ll's .
Btw there wont be any bottleneck either, cuz with a phenom x6 at 4.0 ghz I get the same benchmark scores that a core i7 3.8 ~ 4.0 ghz gets (as long as it isnt sandy bridge or the 980 or 990) except for in 3d mark vantage which kinda likes the hyper threading of intels processors!
Well good luck with you and your upgrades but a highly recommend you keep your 360 and wait out for a new card to release and then buy it, I upgraded my 8800GT Sli after 4 years. Good things happen to those who wait !

Guys to be honest we cant really question him, rather just advise him weather he would like to take or not thats up to his hands, but accusing him of not playing and being a hardware freak is another, lets not really go aggressive on him, cus we have to keep in mind that he is only 14, besides its his money so leave the decision to him, about finishing games well thats also upto him, he can be an Oc/ hardware fnatic and be a casual gamer. Its all up to him, so lets just leave it at that.

You do realize that SLI has problems ? GTX 460 sli doenst beat 580 in all occasions and has alot of microstuttering issues, Id suggest a 6990 or an HD 6970 xfire . AMD cards suffer less from stuttering, Nvidia havent really been able to improve SLI scaling much compared to back then where sli scaling was epic !.

^who told u that?see guru3d benches. 6870cfx almost match with 560ti sli, now rethink about what u r thinking about.
Crysis 1 also sponsored by green side, but u know what? There 6850 beats gtx460 stock by 15% at high presets.so, don't be so sure, cam down, wait a bit to take a decision....just advicing nothing else.

Thanks for ur suggestion......but the thing is I'll always look at DX11 Games over DX10/DX9...See this review...EVGA 460 FTW SLI Beats/on par wid HD6870 CFX almost in everything... I'm thinking of going for 1 GTX 580 now then another in 3-4 months.....
