Default Tips for newbie buyers & maintance/warranty issue

#1.do not ever buy a whole system from a specific shop.

e.g: if you go to buy mobo+cpu package 4m ryanscomputers, they will try to force you to buy casing, rams even they might ask you that you will be given a special discount.but, this is just the opposite. when they see someone is not illiterate as they expected they often will try to make you fool by many ways.

#2.try not to buy any GPU from bd market.

if you are going for top of the series/line product. then it's definitely recommend not to buy it from any of the distributors in bd. bring by any means necessary from abroad. there are people who brought things from abroad. now a days in bd it's not a new thing. you may have to pay additional money & the risk of not getting warranty. but,it is worth of what u will get rather than having having c class gpu's available in bd.

#3.if you are going to argue with any sales man on any exclusive shops @ idb e.g: ryans, ucc, smart.
please keep as much evidence as possible.bcoz, they will tell no matter what they have in their mind @ the time(most of times).

#4.if ur product ever get doa or dead within 72hrs(noticeably increasing now a days) try to get ur product replaced asap. the shops are likely to say the product is out of stock & can't replace.buy any other product or wait. in this situation do not wait for the re stock.bcoz, this likely never works.they always had products but,in time of warranty they will tell u they don't have it on their stock.

#5.do not ever think bd's shopkeeper will ever able to fix if anything is wrong with ur any h/w(after warranty period expires).they simply doesn't have the sufficient knowledge on ur high end product.they will simply do a cleaning,re seat everything & in the end tell u product death ur charge is 500/tk.which u can do with any moderate internet connection(even with slowest gp edge ) using Google.

#6.do not ever think even if u r a premium customer of one the best exclusive shops available @ idb even after a 500~1000 taka discount they will likely still have their profit 4m the product they are selling to u.so,don't ever think that u won the bargain

#7.in bd don't think if u can't find the country's largest computer market which is idb u can't find ur desired product elsewhere.in this case ECS COMPUTER city located @ elephant road could be ur next searching location.i know it's unbelievable but, trust me sometime very good & rare products are found on that market.

BG experienced & senior members are always @ ur side to help u out with anything regarding pc h/w & software
have a nice time shopping & maintaining ur pc in good condition.

these tips were taken according judging various users personal & real life practical experiences.however exception is always there.it's not mandatory to follow but, following won't hurt someone that's a guarantee.

Biggest thing...just roam IDB...if you find the product some where else...just ask the salesman to get it for you...i have done this countless times....they usually get the product from that shop...if they cant they tell me to buy it from them...

Awesome thread..... but i think its not risky if u buy sapphire for ati and msi for nvidia.try to avoid xfx products as C/D class xfx is available in IDB.

Important thing: Never ever ever peel off or smudge the sticker in GPU or in other products as it contains the main serial no.

I normally buy from Onix, as they always find me something that they don't have, and give me a reasonable price. UCC, I do not enter anymore.
