    which specific cpu's benchmarks are you looking for???? tomshardware, anandtech, guru3d, hardocp.....these are all reputable websites and can be trusted.

    But read the test settings before going through the benchmarks, it helps understanding the benchmarks results better!

    did you notice the applications???............for multi-threaded applications the phenom should be ahead against the i3-540, whereas for single threaded applications the i3-540 will lead. er karon hoche intel is faster clock for clock. tumi jodi gaming focused how, tahole oboshoi phenom ta nite cheshta koro.....it does very well when it comes to gaming.

    im sure BG er onno member rao eta bolbe (considering phenom ii x4 955 BE vs core i3-540)

    but tao tumi BG'r shobar opinion nao......it will help the most........user feedback is most important!

    Heh,when I bought my Athlon II X4,I saw some benchmark that that's better than i3 and Phenom sure is better than i3/Athlon/C2Q

    nope. We always worry too much abt synthetic benchmarks. In reality, on average, we use our cpu 2% or 3% over its lifetime.
