    Exclamation Link 3 with DC++ problem after switching from IS-PROS

    He will atleast get around 80-90kBps local sharing speeds, try with Link3 users, as in Link3-Link3, or download from local torrent sites like daruchinibd or torrentbd, you will at best get a 100kBps

    That's strange, I use 384kbps NDP and do net get more than 60kB/s when using DC++ with any ISP user or local trackers

    Nope not only me, aayman also uses link 3 and we all get our package speeds but always NDP speeds, like my package is 192kbps at day and 384kbps at night, I get no more than 60KB/s using DC++ or local trackers. I also contacted link-3 support and they said I will not get no more than that

    I use link3 too, and maybe you don't know, but your packages have upgraded. If you're using the 1000tk package, then you're speeds are now 256kbps at day and 512kbps at night. And i'm using this package too

    The reason why Link3 cant provide much bandwidth in local shares is cuz they use PON. Though PON is the most cost effective way to provide FTTH its limited in upload bandwidth.. they dont want ppl to suffer in Internet application for local shares. Sad.

    So you pay Tk.1000 per month for 32/64 KB/s NDP?

    I took the 384kbps NDP (192kbps/384kbps) last year at a monthly rate of Tk.1100 per month. I also noticed the speed increase in last month. But I still pay the same fee :X

    Can you tell me which area are you from? Did you always pay Tk.1000 for your package? And what is be the monthly rate of 512kbps/1mbps package?

    @asif105878 Your package is 192 NDP not 384 NDP. My package is 384 kbps Night Double Package (NDP)- At day time (8A.M-8P.M) speed is 384 kbps (48kB/s) and night time (8:01 P.M- 07:59 A.M) speed is 768 kbps 96kB/s).

    Check this more info about latest price of Link3 packages- http://banglagamer.com/forums/showth...8-Link3/page17

    Thanks, I was confused on that.

    When link-3 starts their service in a new area the users get more than their package speeds, this goes on for a few months then link-3 caps them. Maybe some users still get more speeds but it very rare.

    Then tough luck man But shamir is the first user at New Eskaton and look at his speed test results (http://banglagamer.com/forums/showth...l=1#post270418) in his 384kbps NDP package, definitely more than his package speed.

    Na thats not more than his package speed, he has a package of 384 ND, that means 384/768. So at night, he gets 768kbps, and thats why his download speed is 95KB/s. Exactly what he is supposed to get.
