Default Buying a Laptop , any suggestion will be appreciated :)

    Hello everyone

I am going to buy a laptop , looking for i5 processor, 4 GB RAM

I will use it mostly on designs software.

    Budget is around 55K.

    Dell Vostro 3400 , will it be a good choice ? [ http://www.ryanscomputers.com/dbfile/image_window.php?img=Dell_Vostro_3400_Core_i5_226GHz4GB320_3YrsWarranty_1.htm&br and=DELL&model=Dell%20Vostro%203400%20Core%20i5%20%282.26GHz,4GB,320GB%29&price= 59500&iid=2142 ]

Almost similar facilities in Acer Aspire 5745 , and also saving nearly 10K . Dell sounds better reliablity though . [ http://www.ryanscomputers.com/dbfile...50800&iid=3851 ]

Please suggest me which would be better, or there is any better option

    Thanks in advance

In what purpose, are you going to use your lappy? if you also want some gaming on your lappy you should go for HP Pavilion DM4-1101TX..it has an ATI hd 5470 1 GB..its 60 k...
Most people think time is like a river, that flows swift and sure in one direction. But I have seen the face of time, and I can tell you, they are wrong. Time is an ocean in a storm. You may wonder who I really am, and why I say this. Come, and I will tell you a tale like none you have ever heard.

None of them are gaming friendly. See this: http://www.dell.com/us/p/inspiron-15r/pd
Its i5 model is available in Bangladesh. (Intel® CoreTM i5 460M 2.53GHz/3MB cache) it has ATI Mobility Radeon HD 550v 1gb graphichs which can be used for gaming purpose.See this: http://www.notebookcheck.net/ATI-Mob...v.31270.0.html

    GeForce GT 520M -18%
    GeForce 9650M GS -17%
    Quadro FX 3500M -17%
    GeForce GT 120M -15%
    GeForce 9600M GT -14%
    GeForce GT 130M -6%
    GeForce GT 325M -6%
    GeForce GT 230M -4%
    GeForce GT 420M 0%
    Mobility Radeon HD 550v

So Mobility Radeon HD 550v is on par with GeForce GT 420M and better then GT 325M/GT230M. Your 2 laptop has only NVIDIA GT 310M which is 10% slower then even HD 540v. http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-...M.22439.0.html
Where as inspiron-15r has a batter Mobility Radeon HD 550v .
But the price is slightly above 60k. (1gb graphics are not come cheap) If interested I can help you with dealers price. @Mighty Gamer how is your GPU+PSU running. Update us.

may be at last i have to come to inspiron .... i went to idb and found out vostro is providing slower speed as lower hd .... inspirion is better but only thing is it looks pretty simple but it is in my range , so if HP doesnt work out then i will go for it .

one of my friend bought HP and he complained about the heat. i forgot his model but is it common with hp laptops ?
