you need a HDD that transfers data through a USB port. If you buy an internal HDD (PC HDD) then you also have to buy an external enclosure (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817145091) which will cost you around 1200Tk but the problem is you have to power it externally.

my suggestion :- without a second thought buy an external HDD i.e. transcend 320gb.

Thats why its better to go for external hard drive cuz u will spend more in on that setup than an external hard drive will cost. But ps3 only supports laptop 2.5 Inch internal drives.

Not all laptop HDDs work, I believe upto 640GB is fine. The 1TB ones are a few millimeters thicker and doesn't fit inside the PS3's HDD bay.

you will need a laptop type hard disk (SATA), go for the newest ones that uses the power of traditional 5400RPM drives. I know what you are thinking of. Try to bu a used portable HDD like about 20-60GB (thats the avg. size of the games) and buy a 500gb 7200RPP internal ones, i'm sure you will notice some differences
