    Good going guys.

    too bad I sold my i7 + rampage + ddr 1600 CAS6 powerchips last week, did 4.5g + stable 8h. Radiator fans need to be 80% though, still its only around 1000rpm at 80%

    A new phenom II is coming to tide me over till the summer, lets see what i can extract out of it

    Edit: Rakin, im not questioning your stability, just that the prime95 screen you posted didnt show the duration of the test. Just expand it and do a 15min test can you? It just gives more proof of the stability

    @Mazhar vai?
    Didnt need all that power at the moment, got a good deal for the i7 so just went ahead and sold it, bought a cheap AMD CPU (B73), mobo (Asus M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3) and mem (Corsair 2x2 1333 C8). Got a lot of cash in the process too hah

    Shouldnt derail the thread. Rakin have a look at my previous post. Btw, why dont you people touch the uncore?

    @Mohiuddin vai: i am logical,console is cheap,easy to manage,and always plug and play,....

    overclocking is not good for your chips,it can be destroyed due to higher temparature;in bangladesh we use thermaltake coolers,a c-class product and in here we have a humidity condition,as no liquid nitrogen coolant i suggest not to overclock.
    explanation: due to 2.66/2.8 ghz to 4.41 ghz there is a huge temparature rising and the way we implement overclocking it really hurts the condition of your processors,like smoking hurts lung.

    it is also a trick game played by intel,amd,they simply can make i7-920 a 3.2 ghz processor,its their business policy....

    *its a suggestion,so please dont argue....its your own risk to overclock and reduce your pc's longevity....oh i think i am an expert in microprocessors
