Thread: 3d Glass [recomondation]

  1. #1

    Thumbs up 3d Glass [recomondation]

got back into green side again, i mean nvidia. selling my HD 5770 for 10000 taka in cellbazar. bought an GTX 560 1GB and its amazing card specially after overclocking ! ATI is bad for graphics professionals as there is no CUDA. the stream is not that well spread.

now i want to experience some 3d movies/ games . where can i buy all kind of 3d glass ( except the one that requirs 120 hz monitor) which one is better and price . which gives better experience ? the red-blue ones or the others ? want to know the details in the context of availability in bangladesh .

i saw some 3d glasses selling on clickbd with 800tk . are they good ? is there better glasses available in dhaka? where and price. thank you

If you do use 3d in 60 hertz your eyes will sore as ¤¤¤¤ !
Anyhow what you need for 3D is a certified 120Hz 3d monitor and Nvidia's 199 dollar shutter glasses, those cheap ¤¤¤ red blue glasses aint gonna cut it .
About Cuda, to me its nothing more than gimmicks, Ati is just as good for professional graphics, of course GTX 560 is much faster, heck 5770 isnt even there to compete with GTX 460 so what do you expect ? They are two different class of cards. Where Nvidia truly actually accelerates infront of ati is overpriced cards sponsorship and biased reviews.
I myself am using Nvidia, but they still are cuntbags, they charge too much for their cards IMO.
    FTW!!!!!!!!!!

if you are a 3d graphics professional , CUDA is helpful sometimes. sll render engines are using CUDA for accelaration. like this one http://www.refractivesoftware.com/

Actually they are two different technologies. The one with the Red/Blue glasses is anaglyph 3D, this is perfectly fine for normal monitors and no special hardware is required aside from the glasses, which you can even make by yourselves.
Nvidia's implementation however is a whole other beast and quite superior than anaglyph. IIRC, it turns on and off your left and right eyeglasses alternately, one after the other, 60 times every second, and that's why you need at least a 120Hz monitor so that it can cope with the effectively double refresh rate (60*2=120)
