    Hello guys,
I am going to buy a i7 series Desktop PC. So I need help choosing my rig from Tech Gurus.

Before that I should tell you what my need is.
    #:Video Encoding
    #:Multi-tasking(open ~40 tabs+MS Office+Gaming and small application)

Here's my configuration chosen by me. Please suggest me if anything better than this is available in BANGLADESH.
#1: CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 / Core I7 870 (It is overclockable?)
    #2: Mobo: Gigabyte H55M-D2H / ASUS P7H55-M (Support for at least DDR3 2200+/1800 memory modules )
#3: RAM: I will buy it later. Until then 'will use my existing RAM.
#4: GPU: I want to buy 460 GTX (Is there anything better than that available in BD?) / Should I buy AMD 6xxx?(want to SLI/CFX)
    #5: SSD: 64GB / 128Gb (Windows+Gaming) [I already have 1 TB and 320GB HDD]
#6: PSU: I don't know which one will be better or required for me.

I recommend this configuration for ur new rig.
CPU: Obviously AMD Phenom II X6, bang for the buck
Mobo: ur listed mobos doesn't support amd processor get this MSI 890GXM G65 mobo instead
GPU: Get, GTX 465/Radeon 6870/Radeon 5870 (best choice)
SSD: 128GB SSD but add up 1 terabyte 7200rpm hard drive with that for some redundancy
PSU: Thermaltake 550 watt will be good enough for one graphics card may need 600watt depending on the gpu but if ur planning to use crossfire or sli get XFX 750 watt instead
Casing: Get a gigabyte isolo or sumo casing for showing off the beast

if you are after core i7 870 then there is no need for high speed rams. high speed ram doesnt have significant impact on newer core i7 processors. again think about ssds. they seem lucrative but as far as i know, the more you use the slower a ssd performs. initial speed is great but look at performance of dirty ssds (i mean heavily used). and look for newer controllers (sandforce 1200, marvell etc.) if you are buying ssd.

@salmanshah The configuration i mentioned above is based on the products available on BCS computer city. But if u want to buy all this stuff from all in one place i recommend you "Ryans Computer". And you can also find other core i7 models in bd not just 870.
    Anyway Glad to help!

I think you should get a better card, one more appropriate of your budget. If I were you I wouldn't go below a 6950/570.

Gigabyte GTX 580 is available at Smart, and they are asking 40k for it. Sapphire HD 6970 is also available in UCC for around 33k.

And in my opinion, as budget is not a huge factor, you should check out the market first. Coz amra suggestion dile oi product ta market e available na o thakte pare, or we might not know about the recent imports :/ You can get proper ideas about what you should get if you can check out the market a bit

And about Sandy Bridge processors, even if they are available, the motherboard issue will be a great pain in the arse :/

Check some benchmark of Phenom II X6,if you think,it can perform then buy it.
And get a good motherboard even it has to be pricey. And MSI 890GXM G65 doesn't support RAM more than 16GB and SLI isn't available in that mobo but CFX is.Besides all of these,it's not bad.For the whole spec Check this
    I don't think you'll get i7 2600k in BD in this week.And I wouldn't buy SB if I were you.

If you want a REAL MONSTER and if you don't have any budget and other restrictions then I would suggest you to get a i7 EXTREME
And please buy at least 650-750W PSU.

Yeah, but kinda rare. As, you said you dont have any budget restriction then why not go for the i7 extreme if not the phenom II X6 is the best bet cuz extremes cost a lot like the GTX 580 & Radeon 5970.

    Then what about this?

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T/1100T(if available)
Motherboard I don't know which would be good.
GTX 580 (as fas as i know 5970 has some tesseleation problem, also gets hang while playing some games.)
SSD- buy the one available in BD.
    PSU 750w (as everyone mentioned)
    GIGABYTE SOMO casing

    is it ok?

Nice rig but the mobo i mentioned earlier is the best choice for the amd processor i.e MSI 890GXM G65. It should be around 11,000TK and it has crossfire support and all the other things u need. And dont worry about that amd processor they are vastly available at the moment and selling like hot cakes Go for it now i guess

Edit- Its better to go for an Radeon graphics card on this rig rather than the nvidia one cuz no sli support on the motherboard and the whole amd architecture suits the radeon gpu. Get, Radeon 6970 instead of GTX 580 cuz it doesnt have tessellation issues.

Check the specs of the mobo before buying.
And if you buy Phenom,it would be good for you to buy a Radeon card too.You can check the Vision Technology.
And i7 EXTREME would be the best option.

    ---------- Post added at 20:11 ---------- Previous post was at 19:04 ----------

And mind you,for cooling you would need an after market cooler if you wanna OC hard
