Default I'm Looking To Buy A cooler for a Palit 2600XT

Greetings to all who've shown interest in reading my thread, as the title states, I'm looking to buy a gpu cooler that fits the Palit 2600XT 512MB gddr3 as the original fan with it isn't as efficient as it used to be and I'm looking for a good replacement, A lot of you might have a dead Gpu lying around and maybe the cooler attached to your gpu might be the right fit for my card, as I am looking to build an HTPC with the card, I can't afford to see it die just because of a stupid fan-failure. I'm willing to pay up to 400/= to 500/= for the cooler.

Please check the link for a pic of the type of lock mechanism I am looking for as a replacement HSF for my gpu.

I have a 8cm black colored DC fan that connects to the CPU fan header on the motherboard. It rotates at more than 3.3K RPM. It is noisy, but works well. If you're interested, please PM me.

I attached a lga775 fan to it and the temperatures are like 69 degrees under full load, what I'm looking for is a bit of a temperature drop.

By full load I meant Furmark 1.8's extreme burning with displacement mapping and 16xx AA turned on at 1280x1024 resolution running for over half an hour, although I've seen lower temperatures being reported on the internet for this particular card, that's why I asked. And I'm looking for HSF for this gpu just for satisfaction, if any of you happen to own a dead Palit x1550 I'd pay good price for it's cooler, cause I want something that'll look good too.

Default Re: I'm Looking To Buy A cooler for a Palit 2600XT

Even if the temps are fine, I just want a new HSF for my card, is it too much to ask for instead of all the advices? I don't live in Dhaka anymore, there was a time when I took out the HSF from a P4 478 socket and drilled holes in it and mounted it to a 6800 AGP that used to show artifacts while playing doom 3 due to overheating (while overclocked of course) and the modding solved the problem and the card is still running but not oced anymore.
