A MAJOR change for BG, but I feel it's neccessary

Okay, I know this was suppose to be for announcements and rankings, but now, BG is growing, it's a forum, for gamers, and slowly we are expanding, in the quantity of gamers here, and quality as well, I've seen people start playing other games, and more people are getting acquainted, but , I wanted to expand this community outside of Bangladesh, now, I already have 2 friends from abroad one from the US (Saibal) and one from AUS (DJ Halal), and they have problems reading, due to the "Banglish" and Bangla stuff. So can't we like other forum's just type in English? Coz Bangla can't be translated in any web site, like European languages. So, yeah, it's simple, but MAJOR to some people here. :e

I fully support this. Banglish and Bangla, both should be banned from here (no matter how awkward this statement may sound).

English should be primary and should be promoted.

But, if someone choses to use Banglish and Bangla, we should not harm them, unless of course, they curse, etc.

It's an issue, coz people from abroad do not know what we are saying, hell most of the time I don't reply in some threads coz of the bangla, it's insulting.

I don't see any reason for a poll, but support DF the other 99%. English will be promoted, but Bangla of any type will not be banned.

We had long before thought about this, and i think it time we just try to post in english!

I had Alan visit this forum, but he even complained about the language issue, and its not that it can be translated using some web translator!

well i saw in USSR forum that they had a seperate section where they would speak in russian and in some other sections only englsh was allowed.. we could do something like that here.. but really.. are we at the doorstep of doing something internationally that enforcement of english is needed? i mean.. not offending or anything i really like BG and i think its the best in BD BUT .. what will a foreinger do in here? will he be joining the BG cs league? will he be joining the BG dota league?? will he be voting on issus of a BD based forum??

and if some "bangli" from usa or other countries come here it still wont be no use to them.. i mean what will they do here?? we the ones living in bd like it here because its "deshi" and BG is hosting tournies which I AND WE can attend in.. it has news which MATTER TO US .. and people here are trying to better the whole state of gaming in BANGLADESH not THE WORLD ..

yes now one may say we should think big from the start and plan ahead for the future.. but i think it really wont be that big a hassle if we try to switch to english primarily... and as there maybe some people who prefer to speak in english and have difficulties understanding benglai there are probably more people in here who are the exact opposite ..

My friends are Hungarian and American respectively, I can't read the stuff you guys type MOST of the time, when you google something BG shows up, and like I said, it's not like European languages where you can use a translating site and figure it out. I still find it insulting, fyi one MAJOR rule of politeness is, when you're talking make sure you talk in a language everyone around you understands. I am here trying to promote BG around the globe and you guys are talking about your country and language? And you cry why is BD still a 3rd world country? Pfft, turn around and look at yourselves, always amongst yourselves, it's time to get up, and get famous.

Zeus, if I talk in person or on the phone I talk in which ever the person I am talking to prefers but if it's written I prefer English, did you ever hear me talk in English? I always talk in Bangla in person, coz that's what most of you prefer. But when it's typed in English don't you say it's easier to read and write? Coz the Banglish we type here, requires translations and then typing, then the reader has to translate then reply, it's longer and harder.

P.S. - I didn't post or reply per say in some threads coz I didn't get the Banglish. xD
