So i've had my Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 for quite a while now & so I'm posting a review. It is custom cooled & is very quiet. The Sapphire HD 6870 comes packaged in a glossy box that lists many of the 6800 series features on the front: support for DX11, AMD Eyefinity, PCIe 2.1, full 1080p HD video, Windows 7, Displayport 1.2, HDMI 1.4, 7.1 HD Surround sound, and the use of GDDR5 memory. The back panel of the box also lists many of the same features, but there is a explanation accompanied with the listing of the technology on the back.So heres photos of the box:
This Card is Custom Cooled out of the box by Sapphire.Heres Some Photos:
As you maybe thinking since its custom cooled it doesnt allow volt modding but actually it does.I was Able to Get upto 970/1200 on stock volts. Will try & see how much more does more volts provide. So heres my Full Setup:
Overclocked GPU using Sapphire TRIXX & Stability tests conducted using FurMark.Heres what I got by 970/1200 MHz & 950/1050 MHz:
At stock Clocks I can play Metro 2033 @ Very High 4xMSAA & 16xAF & get 20+ FPS(At DX11 & 1920x1080 res).Have Any questions??Feel Free to ask.More OC results soon.See below posts for more benchmarks & GPU-Z shots....
