Go to your BIOS, and then the M.I.T, and then try raising the speed and configure the multiplier accordingly with small increments.

Why do you need to OC? :/ You won't feel much difference in games. I didn't get much boost in games after I overclocked my E7300 from 2.66GHz to 3.6GHz, but got slight better results in benching.

Not always OC is needed. But OC will improve performance in times of games like Crysis,GTA 4,Assassins creed etc .

Man, u need to upgrade PSU, RAM, GPU -- as these are bottlenecking u'r i3.
And, u won't get much benifit, as u'r using H55 mobo + stock coolers. I don't know how u'r CPU, mobo OC's btw.

Yes, GTA4's performance will be improved... but, I don't think that Crysis or AC's performance will increase.. :S

In AC maybe :S performance will increase as it's a open world game & in crysis may not be .But in this two game at least some shuttering decrease/1 FPS will increase, you will have to agree in that .

Wellz, man... Crysis runs fastest in fastest duals, so yes... agreeing on that.
And, in AC, yes.. probably. But, not much performance gain. :S I mean, GTA4 will be a notable gain, but these two aren't.

The stock speed of core i3 is more than enough for 9600gt. Overclocking the cpu wont gain u noticable performance boost as u r gpu limited.so u dont really need to oc unless u r playing cpu heavy games like gta4, lost planet 2 etc.

Agreeing, but IMO, LP2 isn't a power hungry game..

Ne way thats a cpu heavy game like l4d (which is also not power hungry). It will stress a bit if u turn on dx11 feature. But thats not possible in a dx10 card ne way.
