DOTA?? WCG ASIA Championship

India is taking part in WCG ASIA Championship. Hmm they have DOTA included in it. What the heck, how come Formula One is not taking this matter into consideration. Can Bangladesh also participate in WCG ASIA Championship? we are Asians aren't we???

yup. DotA has pretty much 'replaced' Warcraft3 in WCG Asian Championships this year. A very controversial move, but i guess it is not totally unjust cuz Warcraft in Asian championship is dominated by Korean professional players and other countries don't stand a chance against them.

"The WCG announced the official games for the 2008 Asian Championship. Surprisingly, Warcraft 3 is removed and will no longer function as a discipline. It’s presumably the dominance of Korea in the former edition’s that made the organization remove the game.

The Asian version of the Samsung European Championship will again take place in the vibrant city Singapore. Just like the last year, Asia’s largest regional cyber gaming tournament will be held at the International Convention & Exhibition Centre Suntec Singapore.

While Warcraft 3 isn’t, DotA All-Stars will again be a part of the WCG 2008 Asian Championship. Last year China obtained the Gold Medal in the DotA All-Stars competition and they will again be part this year to prolong their title."

wow!! i guess we need sponsors to take part in the tournament, btw F1 dont care about taking Bangladesh forward i guess. All that they know is MONEY MONEY AND MONEY!

F1 has nothing to do with WCG Asia! It is organized by Rupture Gaming, the same guys who organize SKOTH!
