Damn...I'm looking for red and blue plastic or whatever

and 3D torrents mentions in the name. If it has 3D written then its most probably 3D. You'll find required softs name in the torrent description

Download torrents which have 3D written on them, look for samples, download samples and then try out the 3D glasses before you download the whole movie.. Try this for instance...

You didn't answer my question yet though
Where did you buy 3D glasses from?

and also how to identify which movies have 3D enabled in Torrents?
you didnt mention about where you are using this glasses. if for pc, then you are out of luck. you will need 120hz monitors. and nvidia 3d vision kit. otherwise3d glasses wont work. if for tv, then not all tvs support all glasse. every model support specific glasses. so you should check it.

there are already very few 3d movies (~10 -12) availabe in blu ray. but less available in torrents. i downloaded piranha 3d but it didnt work. so cant say all will work on 3d.

there are 2 kind of 3d tech

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3-D_film

    1. Anaglyph
    2. sterioscopic

the first one has the same frame rate as normal movies...just have slightly offset red and green colors...
you can make a glass out of the 2 colors to watch these kinda movies...and they dont require any special displays...just only the glasses...and will even work on 15" crt monitors

the second tech requires active shutter glasses...the kind nvidia sells....and also reqquires minimum 120 Hz displays....also requires HDMI 1.4 for TVs....and they are quites expensive
and these movies has twice the frame rate of a normal movie....and has bigger sizes

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polarized_3D_glasses

you can find movies of first kind in torrents

stereoscopic movies require special softwares...so they are not available in torrents yet...

Yeah, usual torrents have the Anaglyph tech in it, I downloaded Toy Story 3 in 3D which had slight offset colors,

and did try the marker method, but couldn't find good enough markers

The best idea would be that buy Blue/Red Colored Transparent Poly Sheets, which if you look hard, then can get at some stationary shops. Those will do the trick..
