Team Torrents

Recently our super awesome admin, @virus_bd , has implemented a new feature in TBD, and that is Team Torrents.

What is it for?

Simply put, to help members download external torrents more efficiently from other sources like thepiratebay.

Currently what we do is download the same torrent, add each others as peers manually or add the openbittorrent tracker and 'hope' to get connected in the midst of the thousands of other peers.

This will not be an issue anymore. Team Torrents aims to keep the team members (downloaders) connected at all times. By using this, you and your chosen team members will be able to download stuff from other sites much more efficiently.


How to use this?

It is very simple.

1) Download the external torrent from sites like thepiratebay.org, kickasstorrents.com etc.

2) While uploading it to TorrentBD.com, look for the Team option



*This option is only visible after you form/join a team.

3) Select the Team downloading this torrent and finalise the torrent with all necessary information.

4) Upload the torrent, all members will be notified and linked to the new torrent.



5) The torrent is now tracked externally and through TorrentBD.

6) After you finish the download, make sure you go back to it and edit it so that it is visible to all. Don't worry about external peers, they won't be able to download from you after you complete the torrent, a system has been put in place.


Other Info:


Do not use this with private external trackers like IPTorrents. Those torrents have your unique passkey, and if they catch multiple users using it, you will be banned.


How to join a team?

Just PM 'admin' with a list of other members and your team name. But teams inactive for 1 month will be deleted.

System has been upgraded and this process simplified. Now all you need to do is just upload the torrent and select the team. Passkey will be added from the server.

may b 3 or 4. if somebody is interested to make a with with his circle thn he is most welcome . but remember if thr is no team activity within a month team will be cancelled

Well in that case don't upload it to TBD, because BCG has unique keys for each user, if you add that torrent in TBD, your key + TBD key will be added. And if BCG sees that the same key is being used from different locations/users, you will be instantly banned.
