Exclamation Omek shows off gesture controls for PC at CES

In what’s the umpteenth post about motion controls or motion controllers in some form at CES, start-up Omek’s shown its gesture control tech PC at the Las Vegas show.

The company, based in Israel, said it focusing on converting raw data from sensors into control, instead of going for hardware like rivals PrimeSense and Optrima.

Omek co-founder Janine Kutliroff said the firm already has 15-20 games companies creating stuff with its tech.

“Our goal is to be the technology enabler for the game developers,” she told VentureBeat. “But games are just the low-hanging fruit in this broader market for motion control.”

There’s videos of the tech working below.
