Default Need help about buying a gaming PC

My XFX 8500 GT died 15 days ago so I went to UCC yesterday to buy Sapphire HD 5770+TT LP 430w PSU but the good news is it isn't compatible with my age-old motherboard. So my parents agreed to buy me a whole new PC next month but as I have already paid UCC 10k advanced for 5770 I have to order the PC within tonight. Here's the config:

    CPU-AMD Athlon X4 640 3.0 GHZ or AMD Athlon II X2 250 3.0 GHZ 8.8k or 5.2k
    Motherboard-AMD MSI 740G CHIPSET 4.4K
    RAM-4 GB DDR3 1333 BUS SILICON POWER 3.7K
    HDD-500 GB 2.8K
    GFX CARD-HD 6850/5850/5770 17k/18k/12.5k
    CASING- TT STANDARD 4k
    PSU- TT LP 500W 4.2k

Q.1- Should I go for the Quad core or stick with Dual Core?
Q.2-6850/5850 which 1 is better? Or should I go for 5770 for much lesser price? I would have bought the GTX 460 if it wasn't from XFX
Q.3-Will the PSU suffice for these rig?

hehe my rig has a lot common with yours.
About the mobo, get MSI 760GM-P33 , its only 4.8k.
Q.1- Get the X4, it will be a little future proof.
    Q.2-Depends on your budget.
Q.3-I think it can cover it as I'm planning to do. :S

he needs to buy the card from UCC since he already paid advance... so nile 6850 e nao... will TT LP 500W be enough to run 6850? and if he deicdes to go for gtx 460 will this psu be able to run it ?? naki he will be needing the toughpower one? and i guess delta would be a better choice than TT

About TT LP, I'm not if it gives 500w or not :S
It's max combined power is 400w and max peak capacity is 500w.
AND DON'T BUY THAT MOTHERBOARD, GET THE MSI 760 GM-P33 AT LEAST.

If you paid UCC in advance and don't like to get the GPU from them, just buy the MoBo and CPU and walk out.

Bro, do you have a strict budget? :/

If not, then get the X4 and the HD6850.. Quite future proof i think

And try to take back the advance you paid to UCC, its better to stay away from them
Or if they insist on not giving the advance back, just get the CPU and MoBo as @Frank3nst3in bro suggested.. Its better not to take the GPU from them, and would be better if you don't buy anything from them

Why? :S UCC most probably brings Chinese products. If the 5970 is fake, who can be sure that all other products are not same, although the price is okay? :S

    @toukir95
    A.1- Go for quad core.
A.2- HD5850 is better. You should go for it or GTX 460.
    A.3- Get TT TR2 500W for A.2 GPU's.
