    =====================================================

    The details:

    About the competition

    The Country Cup is back! After waiting more than a year for the second edition of our very successful Country Cup 2009, we launch a new challenge. For those unfamiliar with the concept, the Country Cup competition series is, unlike most of the other competitions held throughout the year, all about the national pride. When you clock, you clock for your country. After all, the ranking is not based on a single submission but on the average of top-3 submissions per country. In addition to last year's rules, the top-3 must use different (!) hardware.

    New in comparison to last year's edition, each stage will last 15/16 days instead of 7. In spirit of the Country Cup we are keeping the stage limitations a secret until the day before the start of the competition.

    HWBOT Country Cup 2010 is open for submissions until 25 Jan. This competition is between countries. Log in or join HWBOT if you want to join the competition.

    Damn! I used 10x multiplier. If I have to raise my Bus speed to 400MHz for a 2.4GHz overclock, I'm out of it. :closedeyes:

    I will later, but my VGA BIOS is fckd up. Needs several restarts to boot..

    4.5ghz stable is possible, and these powerchips go all the way to 2000

    @Dee ;...tumi easily fsb 333 MHz jaite parba...ar 400 MHz o possible...

    this might require cpu vcore to be raised upto 1.5v......i dont know if this is totally safe or not....:S

    ---------- Post added at 11:04 ---------- Previous post was at 11:00 ----------

    here is some idea how should you do in stock cooling...

    E7300 @ 4.5ghz (10x450)
    Gigabyte X48-DS4
    Vcore 1.5v
    all other voltage stock ( or auto didnt take notice)
    Corsair XMS2-DHX DDR2-800 @ 860mhz 5-5-5-18
    Stock Cooling
    60C idle
    73C load

    Now oc to 3.6ghz (10x360)
    vcore 1.2125
    Ram @ 960mhz
    Stock Cooling
    30C idle
    39 Load

    CPU-Z Validation 4.0ghz http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=473614
    CPU-Z Validation 4.2ghz http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=473639
    CPU-Z Validation 4.25ghz http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=481061

    ---------- Post added at 11:09 ---------- Previous post was at 11:04 ----------

    But probably 450 MHz will seriously high...try to reach 400 MHz with around 1.4-1.5 vcore...if you can than...thats the highest you should go...

    ---------- Post added at 11:11 ---------- Previous post was at 11:09 ----------

    Your mobo can handle 1600 Mhz FSB....but as it doesnt have fields for GMH and PLL voltage...it might be a little tricky...

    I saw in different forums that more than 1.4V is dangerous for this chip. If I had a good motherboard like the X48-DS4 I think I could have a chance.

To be more specific, prizes are awarded to the best three contributors of the winning nation, the best two contributors of the runner-up nation and the best contributor of the 2nd runner-up nation.
