    Default XFX GTS 250 or the ATI 5770?

    Hello everyone, today i was at ucc and saw they had xfx gtx 460 which was pretty cool but off my budget...so i took their price list and the xfx gts 250 core edition and xfx ati 5770 (850m standard edition) was within the budget. Can you guyz tell which one will give me better performence??

    okayyyyyy but you see the xfx gts250 is big and looks heavy and the 5770 has better features and reviews........the main thing is i have never used ati so a bit confused!

    LOL,don't be confused InsAllah ATI wont disappointing you though ATI's driver support isn't that much good as Nvida's.Except that everything in ATI is good as Nvidia ^ ^.So buy ATI 5770 without any hesitation .

    Still Ati 5770 is better choice than gtx260 although it dnt have physx

    will my specifications be good for gta 4 max settings??

    intel d555hc mother board, core i7 860 2.80ghz, 6 gigs of ddr3 ram 1333mhz and 500 gb hdd, thermaltake 420w psu and inshallah the ati 5770 hd!!!

    I dont think so...GTA IV is unoptimized as hell when you go max :S

    bro, i also had an idea that ati has bad dv support.but, after visiting both forums, saw almost same driver issues....amd reviving weekly their drivers is a good thing...any1 don't find latest suitable just roll back..or in new driver specification nothing is benificial to him, just don't dl it.
    Many curse driver , but their problem is of other origin(windows,dx,registry),they don't know.....

    But Its awesome...Its an awesome experience with physx turned on...I wont mind lowering the graphics a bit to enjoy physx... and with out physx half of the fun in AA is gone
