Default Suggestion needed for buying a headphone

I am planning to buy a headphone soon (within a week or two). My current one is nether so good nor so comfortable to put on. And it hurts when I go through hours of gaming. I am a complete ignorant about headphones. So, suggest me one (and which shop in IDB to buy it from) which is light and comfortable to wear. My budget should not exceed 3000 Tk, but the lower the better as I am not a sound freak. 2 channel headphones would do but 5 or 7 channels ones are appreciated if available within the price range. Above all, I need the headphone to be comfortable, then I would care about fancy features like noise cancellation or whatever. Any help would be appreciated.

Oh, if you could import from abroad then that would've been nice however it would exceed your budget.

Try to get some of those Big ones from Cosonic or A4tech. They're usually comfy for long time playing.

No good Headphones/sets are available in BD market. The best available headset is the Creative Fatality HS-800 that has a 3.5mm interface and it costs 4000.00 BDT.

I 'll be selling an HS-1000 fatality USB X-fi Headset in January for around 4500 BDT because i have a Tactic 3d Sigma coming along with my other gears in the January shipment.

The HS-1000 is a great headset and is a quite an upgrade over the poor HS-800. The USB interface is a good advantage and the built-in X-fi, although such built-in sound cards are thought to be very inferior is actually an amazing addition. The headset overall is quite comfortable and sounds well beyond what you pay for it. The bass response is what makes it stand out from the rest. It puts the well-known studio monitors like the Shure SRH-440 to shame with its amazing bass response although it sounds muddy compared to the expensive studio monitors which along with a hefty price tag require a $100 sound card to sound decent. It has a similar signature to the creative gigaworks line-up and have a rich, thumpy, airy bass response.

Newyz don 't think of this as an advertisement for the HS-1000 that i'm about to sell. I was just sharing my experience. If u 've the chance to get it from overseas, get yourself a Sound blaster Arena/ Fatality HS-1000. Or if u 've a good sc already, you could try an MKII. The Siberias have a good build quality and sound good too. And if you can can shell out a $100 plz get the Tactic 3d Sigma, im quite sure they are amazing, so im getting 1 myself.

I actually am not a sound freak, I don't even have any aftermarket sound card. I just use headphones so that I don't tear down the house while gaming. So yes, it is kinda high for my budget. I am willing to spend for GPUs, mouses but not for headphones.

Is the one you mentioned available in IDB? Because I am going there within two weeks to buy a PC for my cousin.

I probably wouldn't have set such a low budget if I were interested in importing. That's just too much hassle for a headphone (for a normal user like me). If it was for GTX 580 for low price, I would've considered Are those big ones comfortable as that is my primary reason for switching headphones?

Yeah I'd suggest you get the big ones, they're quite comfortable. But @Hemlock : What do you think of Turtle Beach?

last time i saw the hs-800 was 3500tk at flora in idb ... no hs-1000 r available in bd though as Hemlock vai mentioned, its far more better then hs-800... even the sourceedge, importer of creative product hasn't any hs-1000 .... they only have hs-800 /*4k*/and creative aurvana Dj /*9k*/... its true that u can't unleashed the full potential of those hp unless u've a decent aftermarket sound card but speaking the truth, even so, those r simply awesome ....ami nije fatality user bolei bolsi, erpore keo amk jor korleo ami cosonic er "fata bash" deya sound quality er hp nibo na .....a4tech is better comparing to cosonic but their bass response is not that deep ... pro2 te higher than 2 channels er razor gaming hp ase tobe ektao 5k er kom na .... er baire genius er 3 ta gaming hp idb te ase ... model gulo mone nai .. price gulo emon: 1300, 2200, 3100tk/- ..... last er 2ta te bass booster alada ase , IIRC ....
