BREAKING NEWS : BDCOM's official CS server.

Okay, now ami jani LORD bhai along with some other senior bhaiyas went to BDCOM's office to solve the issue of several GATEWAYS, Poor SPEED, and other issues. One of the biggest issue was that BDCOM customers werent able to play with each other because of different static IPs and Gateways. We were trying to contact with them, LORD bhai went to their OFFICE to solve the issue but they couldn't and he said he would leave BDCOM. Do not.


Shahidul islam nam e ekjon executive office er shathe ajke amar kotha holo, i complained about their poor service and said, i may leave them aswell.. I told him about the gaming issue, the gateway issue. Had a discussion with him and finally we came to these 2 decisions :


1. BDCOM would create a server (maybe another for 1.6 if we request) for Counter Strike Source. A dedicated Server with a specific IP and port, it would have high ping and less latency with all BDCOM subscribers.

2. He also said, he would try to put all us gamers, under one GATEWAY so that we can share. He had a chat with his boss about this.


So one thing is for sure, We are getting one (maybe 2.) server for Counter Strike. The server will be BDCOM's, just like the DC server, which is actually hosted by SmileBD. They are interested in this because it will save bandwidth and they are looking for a advertising campaign which would attract ONLINE gamers to take BDCOM.


He told me i should contact with you people, and let him know about the situation, if all agrees, we would have a dedicated counter strike source server hosted by BDCOM by tomorrow.

Initially they would require some assistance from us, we would need to take the CSS dvd with us, maybe some Dedicated Server software from Digitalzone's site. We will install the server and let them know everything about the game and they would pick an admin (like Dark crunk is one for the smile bd's server).

ar eita to LAN server na, DC server er motoi onno ISP o bhalo speed e khelte parbe. We couldn't play at DC's as bdcom had problems. Im sure Smile will be able to play at this server since they have no problem what so ever.

well amare bollo server e construction choltese, akhono backbone er kaj shesh hoinai. 1 week er por shesh hobe. tokhon speed o barbe, specially upload er je shomossha choltese oita thakbena. ar ha, gateway er kotha ta amareo bollo, shobar gateway same hoya shomvob na, so shobar shathe share hocche na. Thats why the solution is to create a server which would be situated at the BDCOM's office, abong oi server e bhalo connectivity o bhalo latency er jonno ora shob podokkhep nibe, which includes adding a fresh gateway, using proxies and all. ki ki jani bollo, otota bujhi nai.

well lets give it a try, we have nothing to loose, we just need to give them the DVD of CSS and instruct them how to create a server. erpor dekhi. ki bolen?

Allright sorry for that .. great news for BDCom users actually. but after reading Lord's post on how things work (several gateways with uber high ping on each) this might get *difficult*

then again, as Creator said, there is nothing to loose, give it a shot. I hope someone can setup a dedi server.

btw creator, that server is pwned n managed and blahed blahed by me and me only. it is just connected to smile's connection. its not their server
