Full specs of the pc, please? Did you check the power supply? Sounds like your motherboard or psu could be the culprit, and I've a question, how did you check the ram and the processor? SDRAM and motherboard's capable of booting to 423 socket 1.6 gigahertz pentium 4 processor are hard to find indeed! And you haven't mentioned whether you've integrated graphics solution or an external graphics card, I don't remember 845WN having an integrated graphics card, in case you've an external graphics card (Agp) and it's faulty, it could also be the cause of a system failure. Check your motherboard and the power supply, and the graphics card, assuming you've one.

thnx for your reply . SDRAM & processor was checked on another old P4 pc . they are OK .also AGP which is RIVA TNT 32 is also OK. PSU i didnt checked yet . i have a sound card , a LAN card and a modem installed in the PCI slot of the mobo . they are all checked and working 100% . so my idea is that my MOBO got busted somehow. will go to IDB next day for a full P4 checkup . & most annoying thing is the P4 just died in front of a buyer who was going to buy the P4 from my house on that day. damn bad luck for me .
