    probably the locally boxed CPUs are tray CPUs. there shouldn't be any performance and quality difference afaik. anyway, to see if your one is boxed or tray/oem, check out this and this.

    I think the last thing in the Bangladeshi market that could be fake is an Intel CPU. That's one thing that cannot be duplicated, even by China.

    But the cooler quality is an issue, if you use the stock cooler like myself. But I think low quality coolers can be identified just by simple visual inspection.

    - - - Updated - - -

    Just to make it clear, the boxed and tray CPUs have exactly no difference between them. Just the boxed one is aimed for people who build their own computers, so it has an original intel stock cooler packed with it. Tray's are aimed for shops and businesses which builds many systems in bulk and sell them. They usually buy the coolers separately, either original intel stock coolers or third party ones.

    I hope you people are aware that OEM Tray processors are bought in bulk quantity by retailers, and then repackaged and sold as Boxed processors in retail, there is no mystery about it.

    i can see ur non oced score was 5.69 .....whether a 4590 got 5.99

    look at non oc 3470 performance.......

    http://nl.hardware.info/reviews/5382...-cinebench-115

    http://www.hardwareluxx.com/index.ph....html?start=11

    if 4590 beats 3470 at stock it can beat in oced situation also so no worry...bt wont need to oced ..that one is sold....going to buy an i7 soon

    and post 3dmark 2013 physics score so i can compare ur 3470 with 4590

    The thing is, 4590 CANNOT be oc'ed. Intel has stopped partially unlocking after the Ivy Bridge series. Such a cunning business policy from Intel.

    the ops model does not support multiplier increase...its support only bclk increase by voltage control...if u hv multiplier increase mobo like z87,z97

    then i5 4590 can be oced with multiplier increase.....

    The point is, even if you have z87/z97 mobo, you cannot overclock using the multiplier increase. Intel has stopped this partially unlocking system after the third gen processors.

    @Yasinonic http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/...4590-3ghz.html

    In the link u gave the Mokdabu guy said that he had oced the i5-4590 to 3.7 Ghz by increasing the multiplier and later he stated his mobo: MSI B85M E45
    How did he do it with a B85 chip, lol?
