Mobile processors have 2 cores for efficiency.(Battery backup and blah blah) (4 core are available but not under 1.5 lakh I think :/ . )

Don't buy dell inspiron series from BD. In fact don't buy dell, unless it's a XPS . Laptop in BD are class B products -_- . they have lesser build quality and fails more.

If you buy from BD: MAC, VAIO and Fujitsu are good options (for build quality ). I don't think a decent one would fit the budget .

So , Asus or lenovo is recommended. (Get a Lipo polymer Battery one.) U will thank me later. (Mac is the best option if you can ).

the laptops in bd cost way more than the international price and still its class B *sigh* -_-

It seems that the brand dell is the most commonly used laptop here in BD. After ur suggestion i have looked into some laptops and have come across ASUS N551JK and Lenovo z50/z40.

the only problem is these two laptops doesnt seem to have any reviews whereas I found a lot of good reviews saying dell inspiron 5547 is a good budget laptop and stuff.

this laptop thing is becoming a real pain

I found Mac OS X (running 10.9.5 mavericks in MBP) much better for programming and rendering. Xcode, Iworks, Ilife are life savers.
May be it's not easy for a windows user to switch to mac.
    But it's really good.

Reviews of abroad won't matter cause their budget laptop becomes high-end in BD- -_- . If you like the dell, buy it. I don't know if the specific dell is good or bad.
Bad previous gen (2nd and 3rd gen core CPUs ) Dell had heating and battery issue.
I don't knw if they addressed the issue. I still won't recommend it, but it's your choice.

I still won't recommend it, but it's your choice.
im really confused it seems in my budget dell inspiron 5447/5547/7437 fits in with good processor, ram and good battery life though it lacks behind build quality.

Another choice is the Lenovo z4070 or z5070 but one of my brothers tell me i will suffer when ill need technical support

I have considered other brands except mac(out of my budget) but didnt seem to find anything good withing my range

u have no idea how many times i went though the asus zenbook ux305 and ux303la . they are great.but look at the 1st comment http://www.trustedreviews.com/asus-z...review-summary

yes their display sucks BIG TIME i have seen everywhere

EDIT: OPPS sorry the display issue is with the 303LN model not the 303LA. ok now im pretty interested in the zenbook 303la it has only 1 ram slot containing a 8gb ram in the future no space for upgrading

another problem is that its i5 whereas the other options i have withing this budget is i7 and has an extra RAM slot

Yeah most laptops use Intel U-series processors. They use 2 cores w/ HT from i3, i5 & i7 give higher base clock, turbo clock and better integrated graphics.

After using my cousin's Inspiron 14r 5437 for a few days, any laptop with above 14" display size & FHD resolution feels good to me. So far this Lenovo is in my wishlist.

Bro you can get a laptop with i7 and also dual graphics within like 60k. You can get that. But it you want light, slim, premium build, battery longevity than you should go with the ultrabook series from Asus. If you dont do rendering stuff, you'll be good with i5 and 8 GB RAM.

1366x768p on 14" display feels small and washed out comparing with my FHD monitor and Nexus 7 2013.
i5-xxxxU is a lot better than my core 2 duo, boots fast on 1TB HDD with Windows Defender and other laptop specific services on Windows 7.
Can't type fast maybe because I'm spoiled with a full size keyboard and I kept touching the trackpad.

I like a big display and 1080p resolution with some mobile graphics card on my ideal laptop.
I looked up this Lenovo Z70 from $740, $848 & $940 for 3 configs. But I don't if they are in BD market and how Amazon product support works.

Amazon support-U need to ship it back to amazon (USA/CA or UK, from where U bought it) . They will replace or fix it for U and ship back.
It's pretty good. But I only bought from Amazon. (as the vendor). Other vendors in amazon may work differently.

17 inch is really big. because laptop display are seen from such a close range.

Go for a 14/15 inch FHD display. (It will look amazing) - 1366X768p doesn't look good at all. (Avoid them.)
