PC buying help - Max budget 120k
One of my friend is planning to build a PC within this week. Due to previous business with them, most probably he is going to buy it from BinaryLogic. I am asked to give him suggestions & I was hoping that you could help me.
Intel Core i7 4790 - 24.5k
Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H - 7.2k
G.Skill Ripjaws 1600MHz 2x4GB RAM - 6.2k
WD Black 1TB HDD - 5.5k
Asus 24x DVD Writer - 1.6k
Casing+Sound+Keyboard+Mouse - Within 10k
1200va UPS - 5k [PowerGuard/Prolink/Apollo]
Asus VX229H 21.5" IPS Display - 14.4k
CM V550 80 Plus Gold PSU - 8k
these leaves around 38k for the GPU. Was thinking of 970, not sure yet.
His maximum budget is 120k. These are the prices I found from websites. I would be glad if you could come up with the current market prices. Thanks in advance

If your friend can wait for a few months, he can get the i5 4590 instead of i7 with the rest of the parts other than the gpu now and save the extra money for AMD 300 series gpu. And if he can't then your current selections are perfect.
Gskill Ripjaws 8 GB combo is around 7k, and I would go for 970 instead.
1. get 16GB RAM, 8+8, will help u in the future.
2. dont buy WD black, they are over rated.
3. buy asus board
4. don't buy Apollo ups.
5. get a toughpower instead.
and then get a 290X or a 970, totally up to u.
Sorry wanted to post into pc buying help, not with the max budget
Like Vanguard will say later, Don't even buy the damn WD Purple HDDs if your friend prefers his privacy
1. Currently thinking of sticking with 2x4GB RAM

4. Won't. Would buy PowerGuard maybe
5. As BinaryLogic imports CM thought they might insist on taking it. Is it bad or something?

BinaryLogic's website states that a single stick 4GB RAM is 3.1k. So 6.2k for two sticks. Mistakenly wrote 5.2k :3 thanks

AND its good..B)
Yes. Binary's employees are bad at debating so you can easily shave off 700 taka and buy it at 6.8k
