Default Internet connection in Uttara Sector 4

    Hello guys,

Need your help to find a new ISP in Uttara sector 4. The ones I found googling only provide internet in sector 11/12 etc. Would really appreciate your help.

I am currently using link3. I have no internet connection right now as they are apparently making some upgrades. Half the time no one answers the helpline. I am fed up with them.

I would just like a reliable connection and Bdix server high speed connection for torrentbd. Would be great if I could properly play fps multiplayer games, but that is not mandatory.

Dhakacom will likely be a good replacement.

Link3's 'support' is indeed pretty good though, I have no idea why you're being ignored.

Its a long story, in short, first two people I talked to were friendly even though they didn't fix the issue they said they would fix. The last person I talked to, she was impolite. I had no internet for 4 days and was told multiple times it would be fixed, they would give me a new IP. But now she told me I have to pay this month's bill first or else it won't happen. I understand her logic, but the way she told me that pissed me off. It takes me 1 minute only to pay them through bbl internet banking. If this was the issue, they should have told me on Friday or Saturday when I talked to them. From what I hear, currently other users are still facing problems due to the upgrade. I won't pay them until I see everything is working. If I leave them, I will return the modem to them and pay them only for 19 days internet, not a paisa more. I emailed them twice in the process, no reply. The woman told me she talked to Uttara office and they would SMS me the details of how to fix it. I collected the uttara office number from her, no one is picking up. I know they will pick up at some point, but they should be available as long as I call during office hours. In short, I feel like they are really wishy-washy.

I know I am being hot-headed. But the problem should jot take so long to fix. And I shouldn't have to continuously reach out to them over and over again for the same issue. I am happy i was with them for over two years but its time for a change.

Like Codex said, Dhakacom. I've used Link3 for 4 years. Never liked their Uttara office people here aren't exactly customer compliant

Haha, not a bad idea but that would be too harsh since except the last few days I wasn't too dissatisfied with their connection. Returned the modem and paid the partial money yesterday.
