ATI Radeon HD 5770, maybe Fits perfectly within your budget. I'm not quite sure whether they are currently available or out of stock, but most probably they are available. You may also consider buying Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 if you wish to go with Nvidia.

A shopkeeper in Uttara asked 20K for 6850. Price will decrease soon, I think. And don't go for Nvidia.
Your CPU may bottleneck 6850. So if you buy 6850, you have to overclock your CPU.

I don't know, thats why I added it as a "side suggestion". 6870 and 6850 are way too pricey for your budget. 5770 is the best bet now which fits your budget. If your concern is only gaming, then go with ATI. If you do GPU accelerated rendering stuff, then buy an Nvidia card. And... GTS 250 is not so good compared to HD 5770.

GTS 250 is not a good card compared to HD5770.
Also if u buy a gpu at this range u will need a good psu if u dont have already.

gigabyte hd 5770 (12k) & thermaltake lightpower 400w (3k) may be ur solution.

can anyone tell me the price of GTX460 in BD ? and kemon PSU lagte pare ? ar amar CPU E5200 . 2.5ghz . i just want to play games, any suggestions ?

sry for the offtopic bt didn't feel right opening a new thread abt this.

Btw bling bro , u shud not buy 5series now coz you won't get good driver support as 6series is coming and it be great if u wud tell the resolutions u play at. coz if you play a low resos then buying high end card like 68xx isin't going to be very wise

Are the 68xx cards high-end? I don't think so. The Bart and Bart XT are the mid-range cards in the 6-series, AFAIK.

    Default Re: GPU within 10 - 15k

    So overall...

Its better to go with the GTX 460 or the HD 6850 rather than the HD 5770..
And i can increase my budget a bit..somewhat around ~17k..

As Dee said, He saw a HD 6850 for around 20k at some shop in uttara.. I guess the price's gonna decrease when its available in IDB or ECS...

AFAIK, the HD 6850 is quite a bit better than the GTX 460 768Mb...and the GTX 460 1Gb is better than the 6850 i guess...
    Prices @ Newegg are HD 6850 - $189.99
    GTX 460 768M - $169.99
    GTX 460 1G - $189.99

Can anyone plz inform the price of the GTX 460 1Gb??
At THIS thread, the price is given Tk. 17,800 of the ENGTX460 DirectCU/2DI/1GD5..if this is correct info, i think this is damn worth waiting a while..

What do you guys think?..Should i wait for the GTX 460 1Gb? or should i go on and buy the 5770 now?.. and if the prices of the HD 6850 and the GTX 460 1Gb are nearly the same, then why should i not go for the GTX 460 1Gb..HD 6850 is not a wise option if the 460 is available at a close price range.

Please Correct me if i'm wrong..

So i will suggest you go with gtx 460 if its available. not with hd 5770 as your budget is 15k. n i heard gtx 460 will be around 14k. so now you decide.[COLOR="Silver"]

n about gts 250 vs hd 5770. obviously hd 5770 is a good gpu......... you cant get any gpu in hd 5770's price point. but again you cant get any gpu in gtx 460's price point..... n i think both are in your budget range if available.
I'm not telling him to get the HD5770. HD6850 would be a better choice than the GTX 460 768MB I guess.

And i can increase my budget a bit..somewhat around ~17k..

As Dee said, He saw a HD 6850 for around 20k at some shop in uttara.. I guess the price's gonna decrease when its available in IDB or ECS...

AFAIK, the HD 6850 is quite a bit better than the GTX 460 768Mb...and the GTX 460 1Gb is wayyy better than the 6850...

Actually I didn't see it, @Mohiuddin bro went there and saw the HD6870 which was priced at 28K He heard HD6850 will be 20K.

If you want PhysX, get the GTX 460.

If you are concerned about power consumption, get the HD6850 if you can buy it within 16-17K.
