Success! Yup, playing AP 2.5 games. Wanted to share with you guys since I've been trying it for three days and finally made Game Source, Bashundhara City what to do.

How To Patch AP 2.5 Games To Work With LT+ Firmware


Finally, it’s a success! You guys probably know I tried to flash my Xbox 360 DVD drive’s firmware to LT+ from Game Source, Bashundhara City.
The flash was a success but games with AP 2.5, for example Fable 3, did not boot. It didn’t show the usual “Disc Unreadable Error”, but, the game got stuck in a black screen. Full list of Xbox 360 games with AP 2.5.
Seems like the “backup” games in Bangladesh are not patched for AP 2.5 support. You can do it easily from your home. So, I recommend you flash your Xbox 360′s DVD drive from Game Source and then patch AP 2.5 games that don’t work.
Here’s how to patch AP 2.5 games to work with LT+ firmware.
1. Download latest Abgx v1.0.4
2. Install and run Abgx
3. In the “AutoFix” tab, select “Level 3″ from the “AutoFix Threshold” drop down menu
4. Point to your game ISO and hit “Launch” to patch the game.
5. Burn it to a DVD+R DL using ImgBurn
You can even patch Xbox 360 DVD games that you bought. Here’s how:
1. Insert your Xbox 360 DVD game into your PC
2. Use ImgBurn to “Create Image File From Disc”
3. Use Abgx to patch the newly created image
4. Burn it to a disc

Xbox 360 LT+ Firmware Flashing Experience At Game Source



By now you’re eagerly waiting to know whether the LT+ firmware flashing was successful at Game Source. I’m sad to say that it was not. Nope. Still can’t play AP 2.5 games. Why?
Game Source at Bashundhara is one of the most knowledgeable gaming shops, at least according to me. SOF was unsuccessful in flashing my Xbox 360′s firmware with LT+. But they couldn’t provide a reason.
However, I spent over 4 hours at Game Source (along with fellow Gamersworldbd reader Rakin, more on that later) and none of our consoles booted Fable 3. It didn’t show the usual “Disc Unreadable Error”, but, the game got stuck in a black screen. Ejecting the DVD drive had no effect and the console couldn’t be turned off either – only solution was to yank the power cord.
So, what went wrong? I can attest that the latest LT+ firmware indeed does work. But Game Source has been using an older version of JungleFlasher, namely v1.0.75. Only the latest v1.0.76b works with Lite-On drives and LT+.
The latest v.1.0.76b didn’t work on Game Source’s Windows XP computer. We tried hours in troubleshooting the problem, but in the end decided that Windows 7 would be best.
So, tomorrow we’ll try again from scratch and keep you guys posted. Rest assured, Gamersworldbd is closely collaborating with Game Source in bringing LT+ firmware in Bangladesh market. Usual charge for firmware flashing is Tk 1,300 at Game Source, but if you mention Gamersworldbd you may be able to get a discount.
Also, my Xbox 360 is fine – it plays pre-Ap 2.5 games just okay, even though Fable 3 hung up with a black screen.
And also, it was a pleasant surprise to meet other Gamersworldbd readers at Game Source, namely Rakin who will go ahead tomorrow and try it from scratch once again.

Hmmm... did you update to the latest Xbox 360 Kinect dashboard? Also, which Xbox 360 DVD drive do you have? I've read that really old Samsung (wait, was it Hitachi? Can't remember exactly) doesn't support AP 2.5

Credit goes to Hakim Bhai. But both Rakin and me was there yesterday for around 5 hours. We took the LT+ firmware to him.

I guess you flashed it today from Hakim Bhai. Ask him and he'll tell u. At first it didn't work since he was using an old version of JungleFlasher. Wasted 5+ hours trying to get JungleFlasher v.1.0.766b to work on his "ancient" Win XP PC.

I was about to visit him today too but finally found that yesterday's patch that he did worked. All I had to do is patch the games. Also heard that you're playing Brotherhood. Nice!

No,i didn't update to the kinect dashboard,and i have a liteon dvd drive.

And rakin atokhon amar basha tei silo ami oke dokane giye paisi. Bollo je tomar and or fable chole na. Ami bollam coz patched kora nai.

Ami patched AC Brotherhood niye gesilaam. Pore rakin er tai chollo game at the shop.

Yup Rakin told me that. Bhai if I met u today I wouldn't have bought Brotherhood for PS3.

Tahole Win 7 cholse! Gotokal onek chesta korsilam to make JungleFlasher work on his Win XP. Ajke Rakin jeye tar PC te Win 7 install disilo. Tarpor ki "File permission" niye problem hoysilo. Me and Rakin discussed over telephone and fixed that problem. So, credit also goes to Rakin!

Now my question is this: Didn't Fable tell u to update ur Dashboard? Guess Fable 3 doesn't have Kinect Dashboard Update on disc. I updated to Kinect Dashboard before flashing LT+. Got that E71 error but fixed with a restart. Only then Fable 3 didnt work.

Also, can anyone confirm this: if u delete the $SysUpdate from ur Xbox 360 DVD (maybe replace it with older update), will it work?

Ami oikhane spot e unar motherboard chipset driver install korai disi. Without drivers, his SATA controller of mb was not functioning and as a result, drive dhorte partesilo na.

Fable 3 does not force dashboard update. Aijonno Fable ager dashboard e chole. Whereas AC brotherhood and Hot pursuit forces dashboard update and hence APE 2.5 gets activated in new dashboard.

And na system update folder delete kore laav hoy na. Taile LT+ er dorkar silo na. The only solution to APE 2.5 now is LT+ and JTAG mod.

Wrong lol. Shejonno gotokal Game Source e 5 hours boshe chilam. I also took latest Jungleflasher v 1.0.76b but it didn't work on XP - tried a lot, but driver problems,etc. That's why he did it on Win 7 as we suggested him to.

Onar PC te kono prob hobe cause XP te flashing shob kaj korar kotha. XP te probably chipset drivers/.NET framework install kore nai ba kisu cause erokom flashing er jonno 7 er kono exclusive feature lage na. Ulta ami nije jokhon flash korsilam tokhon koto kisu alada kore lekha chilo for Vista/7.
