SSD uses semiconductor memory while HDD uses magnetic memory. It is much more faster(10-20x) and durable than HDD. It decreases windows boot time and game/software load time dramatically. However it does not provide any performance improvement in games. So its down to your preference if it is worthy or not.

Don't know much about that particular model. But my old (2.5 years) SSD, transcend 128 GB is running very good with 100% remaining life after heavy usage by this time.

Well, that reallocated even count means your drive has bad sectors in it. Although as it is a ssd, i think that should not be a problem but the problem will arise when you want to sell it and the buyer can see there's bad sectors in it.

For SSD's this is very normal. Cause, the cells are damaged day by day of normal usage (and after heavy usage of 2.5 years, of course). The intelligent SSD controllers isolate those cells, so that, those cannot be used for data storage.

That's why I find Intel SSD's much more reliable then any other manufacturer, you can try them and they are way reliable in terms of performance degrading and seem to bbe a bit more better then the other's because of the controller that they use in the Intel 730 SSD's/

nope, it only improves game load times but doesnt really affect in-game performance

It helps programmers, Graphics Designers, mostly those who work with media based on heavy data load. For gaming I guess you could say it's a fancy gimmick but helps games which has long loading times(am looking at you Battlefield 4)

No i wont laugh at you. My point is, almost everyone nowadays has atleast 8/16GB of rams. So pagefile usage is getting obsolete nowadays unless you run some ancient program which wont run if it doesnt detect any pagefile.
