    Default Host Problem in GameRanger

    sorry 2 open a new thread 4 this, but i cant find a solution to the hosting problem in gameranger,no one seems to be able to join when i host.dedicated server was off and punkbuster disabled...pro's would you plz help??

    download this fiile.. http://www.fileserve.com/file/UP8Nm7a u will need to replace this file "iw3mp.exe" with the main iw3mp.exe file... this should do it

    1)What message ur friends get when they try to join ur server?
    2)Is ur cod4 patch updated to 1.7?if not then update...
    3)set ur cod4 keygen to UJTD-U2YQ-242E-2MYW-D351
    4)Is ur cod4 installation Disk was double DVD ITnext or NP&P?Skullptura RIP is not good.

    1-actually i'm not sure...maybe cd key problem
    2-it is updated to 1.7
    3-i will try this 1
    4-it was double dvd IT next
    i face no problems when i join any game but while hosting people cant join and more importantly, my game runs slow.

    You are using windows 7 which is not properly compatible with game ranger so that cod4 cant be hosted. You have to install windows vista or xp for opening cod4 host in game ranger.

    I have the same problem..... And you guys are saying that I'll have to throw my PC back to the stone age to HOST on GR even when I have a Smile(Diamond Package) with the main server right next to my home... So sad. There has to be some other solutions to this problem..

    buchhi ebar...ami host korle amr game ta ektu slow chole...low grafix eo(laptop er jonno maybe).....eijonno hoy na, but onno karo server e pura smooth chole...so host kora posible na ei pc te....but thanks a lot for the help

    There is a patch is Gamescopyworld.com named Call of Duty 4 v1.7 PRIVATE WINDOWS SERVER & NO-WAIT PATCH #1. It solved my host problem in windows 7
    No 7. No discussion, sharing or referencing game hacks.

    I had a issue with gameranger automatically creating a COD server meaning hosting wouldn't work. The patch fixed it.
