5830 is power hungry and is 256-bit and faster than 5770 where 5770 is 128-bit. But 5770 is fast even though it is 128-bit. So I like the 5770 [I don't like power hungry stuff :\]. Are you planning to buy one of them?

well, HD5830 is better off course! but consider the price gap between HD5830 & HD5850! it is around 2K. so, buying a HD5830 is pointless. coz, HD5850 is much better then HD5830! so, u should choice between HD5770 & 5850!

wait for the gtx 460 . Its the same price of 5830. But its notably faster especially with antialising and tessellation enabled, this is where the ati5000 series cards take much fps hit.

So most of u are saying that I should go for 5830 or 5850. And 5850 cost 2-3k more than 5830, that's about 20-21k. kintu 5850 ki market e available.

    I wouldn't recommend a 5830.
    Bottom line:
    1. Go for a 5770 if you want to save money and have a halfway decent PSU. @Rakin is wrong; it's not a weak GPU at all, I ran Metro 2033 at 1366X768 with everything set to high.

    2. If you have some extra cash get the 5850, but make sure you have a good GPU, it requires more power than the 5770.

IMO, spending 20-22k on a year-old GPU, especially when the 6-series cards have already been released, is a bit of a waste.

its hard to believe that u can max out metro with a 5770. What i have seen from benchmarks is that even a 5870 suffers to max out metro. So, were u running it with dx 11 features turned on and how was the average fps? Please let me know.
