Free kicks and corner problem

Any tips how to take free kicks and corners? my free kicks wud always go above the bar, and corners, also. even if i press downward direction while heading the ball towards goal..

In the arena mode, hit back, practice set piece...Then practice free kick and perfect it

you gotta work ur free-kicks to perfection, for those who have been playing on the pc versions of fifa...
coz on NG its totally different...
i would suggest you to check out the videos on youtube to learn abt the free-kicks..

true, but the worst thing is you can't move the goalkeeper.
which makes you helpless, when defending against the expert free-kick takers...

i have always been helpless while playing fifa10 on xbox360 with my 14 yr old cousin...
he has expertized himself on freekicks & other skills...

if u move the wall left keeper will move right, this way u can move the keeper.

But I find the freekick easy like before but I havent played on a gamepad yet. Its all about the direction you want to shoot and the power. You can use the "UP" arrow key to apply topspin to the ball so that it dips and "LEFT" or "RIGHT" arrows to add side spin to the ball. That will make it curve. I personally use a combination of both but it all comes down to luck and practice. IF you can memorize all the positions and know what magnitude of power is required then you can score from any free kick situation close to the box.

u can give RONALDO ROCKET! in freekicks in fifa11

jst take the shot with switch player button (which is needed to chip the gk )

its jst lyk ground freekick if u hold down the switch player button through out the shot

bt if u release the switch player button with the shot buttion .... then it will be the ronaldo rocket

the more quicker u can gauge ur powerbar the quicker the shot will go...
