Gigabye best on the long run but sapphire akta bhua company i suggest XFX the best. My first Graphichs card was gigabyte nvidia 8500 turbo edition which was g8 for 3 yrs then I had a 4550 sapphire which died after 1.5 yrs then a 4870 xfx xxx edition which is running very well in my secondary pc and currently have a 5850 black edition xfx which is running great for abt 6 months. So XFX iz the best imo.

Without any doubt Gigabyte is best .........Why?........Because in terms of durability its better den all others & in terms of performance, features is same as XFX/Sapphire/Asus,price is less dan Asus ones......So my vote goes for Gigabyte..........Worst is XFX............Performance is ok but in terms of durability its not dat much good.......Have seen many people suffered after buying XFX cards...........So 'll always try 2 stay away from XFX........

Ahem...all you XFX haters who think it's cool to hate, I have an 8600 GT that I bought in 2008. It's still in my old PC, running like a champ. 2 years of gaming, and still not a single sign of failure. Explain that PL0X.

Well, it doesn't matter what subvendor you get, as all of them are good or bad. Any chip may die or show instabilities. But if XFX card bothers me, I curse XFX every minute and get a Sapphire or Gigabyte. If a Sapphire card bothers you, then you do exactly the same to that Sapphire card and recommend others XFX or Gigabyte ones. Same goes for Gigabyte. Its that simple.

Usually Sapphire installs better (than stock) coolers on their cards, so thats an advantage as they perform silently and keeps the card much cooler. Gigabyte gives lots of features, even more than XFX, so those are their advantage. The choice is yours of course.
